Luo Songnan: Sell Yunnan Vegetables Abroad.
Before the core speed reading 20 years ago, Daxing village in Chenggong county came to a "Lao Guang" with a strong Chaoshan accent. The ugly young man shouted with a basket to buy the vegetables peas from the villagers. On the second day, the peas of Daxing village appeared on the farmers' market in Shenzhen. This is the first time that the vegetables of Chenggong county have come out of Yunnan.
Since then, Yunnan vegetables represented by Chenggong have been gradually known by consumers nationwide and have entered the international market.
In those days, the first young Chaozhou people to send pea from Daxing village to Yunnan, now owned several hundred million vegetable trading companies with total assets. He is the chairman of Songnan green products economic and Trade Co., Ltd., Luo Songnan, the first vegetable seller in Yunnan.
In the southern part of China, it seems that it is a natural business place where wealthy businessmen are born. It is the birth of a Chaozhou business group represented by Li Jiacheng, the richest man in Asia. Wong Kwong Yu, the old board of Gome, who once won the list of rich people in China, is also here. Luo Songnan was born in a place where heavy commercial culture was precipitated.
Luo Songnan, a young father who had lost his father, had to give up his studies and earn money to help his family.
Recalling the past sufferings, he understated this sentence.
At the age of 16, Luo Songnan, who had not yet finished his first grade in junior high school, had to get out of school and make a small business in the vegetable market to make money, because his family's living expenses were counting on him.
Soon, Luo Songnan found that the small vegetable market was hard to adapt, and he turned his attention to Shenzhen, which had more consumption potential.
At that time, Shenzhen was bathed in the spring breeze of national reform and opening up, and the commodity economy took the lead in the whole country. People from all over the country quickly gathered to this small fishing village, and the consumption of vegetables increased rapidly.
Such an opportunity, Luo Songnan naturally will not let go, he has not been satisfied with the vegetables sold on the vegetable stalls in the farmers market, but with 9 other friends, set up a small trading company to sell vegetables from their hometown to Shenzhen, so that his vegetable business career has gone one step further.
The rapid development of Shenzhen's commodity economy in Chenggong, Yunnan, has not only greatly increased vegetable consumption, but also diversified demand for vegetables.
Luo Songnan and his partners, who had already eaten the vegetable market, soon felt that vegetables in Guangdong were hard to meet the needs of Shenzhen. They badly needed new vegetable supply.
A chance, Luo Songnan heard that the climate of Yunnan is unique and suitable for planting vegetables. So the 10 partners deliberated and decided to send Luo Songnan to Yunnan to find the source of vegetables.
In this way, Luo Songnan and Yunnan took a half life's fate.
The first feeling was cold.
From the hot Southern China to the warm plateau Spring City, Luo Songnan still feels the great disparity of climate, and is also accompanied by a certain altitude reaction.
But the shortage of supplies in Shenzhen did not give Luo Songnan time to adapt to the plateau climate. He had to find the right vegetables to send to Shenzhen.
"At that time, Chenggong was only a large area of rural areas. Large areas of land are all food crops, vegetables are not many, flowers are even less."
This is Luo Songnan's first impression of Chenggong.
Although vegetables were not easy to find in Chenggong, Luo Songnan found a large basket of vegetables peas in real estate overnight, "100 kilograms."
He clearly remembered the weight of the basket peas.
Second every day before dawn, he hired a pony cart to carry the basket peas to the airport, because the basket peas should be sent to the Shenzhen food market before cooking. "The first batch of vegetables in Chenggong went to Shenzhen by plane."
He joked.
Not only peas, Luo Songnan then bought some Chinese cabbage to fly to Shenzhen.
Shenzhen's vegetable buyer's market urged Luo Songnan to go back to Kunming without stopping, but this time he brought a lot of vegetable seeds. After a few months, the vegetable seeds increased his acquisition.
It is not easy for a foreigner who has just arrived in Kunming to do a good job in business. It is not easy to do business, especially Luo Songnan, who is not good at Putonghua.
He clearly remembered that when he went to the farmer's farm to buy vegetables, he could only drink a bottle of 9 cent of soda water and eat a 5 cent cake. Until now, he didn't know the name of the cake he had eaten, but he remembered that the soda water he drank was very spicy.
However, this is not the biggest difficulty.
"The most difficult thing is to pport vegetables to the airport."
At that time, there was a distance from Chenggong to Kunming airport, and the road was not easy to go. Luo Songnan usually began to buy vegetables at the farmer's field at 12 o'clock at night. At four or five o'clock in the morning, the vegetables were pported to the air cargo company. In order to save costs, he hired local pony cars to pport vegetables. "Every day we should catch a carriage for 50 minutes in the night."
It is the occasional Chenggong pony car that Luo Songnan has accompanied them for 3 years. In the past 3 years, the life of Luo Songnan has become a real night owl.
"I will never forget the day of pporting vegetables by horse and cart."
In the heart of Luo Songnan, who drives TOYOTA car, Chenggong's Pony car is a tool that he never forgot in his life, because it accompanied him through the most difficult time.
Sometimes, the God of wealth is the people who care for those who can bear hardships. So though they have suffered a lot, Luo Songnan has gained a lot.
"I sent vegetables from Kunming to Shenzhen. At the best time, I earn about 1000 yuan a day for the company."
Luo Songnan and his friends grew stronger, and their vegetable business expanded from Shenzhen to Guangdong and penetrated into the Hongkong market.
Under the stimulation of market demand, vegetable cultivation in Chenggong has gradually become scale, and vegetable varieties also cater to the diversified development of the market.
However, Luo Songnan no longer sells vegetables by air pportation, because the huge demand of the market has greatly increased the cost of shipping. He began to use the lower price road pportation.
However, there is a problem to be solved in road pportation, that is, the preservation of vegetables. Luo Songnan has had some brains in this regard.
"Put the vegetables in a foam box, put a plastic bottle of ice in the foam box, and then wrap it on the foam box with the quilt, and the vegetables will be able to keep fresh."
It takes about more than 50 hours to go from Kunming to Shenzhen by car. Luo Songnan used this method to realize the preservation of vegetable pportation in low cost. Now Luo Songnan, who has already left alone, has built cold storage in Chenggong, and has also set up cold storage in Shenzhen, thus achieving a reasonable docking in vegetable trade.
Luo Songnan, who sold vegetables in Kunming, soon made money in Chaozhou and Shantou. A group of Chaoshan gold diggers began to swarm into Chenggong.
It is reported that there are more than 300 vegetable trade enterprises in Chenggong, nearly half of which are Chaoshan businessmen in Guangdong.
"In our town alone, there are about more than 80 companies who come to Yunnan to do vegetable business."
Luo Songnan roughly calculated that the delivery of Chaoshan vegetable traders is not only in Southern China and Hong Kong and Macao, but also in Beijing, northwest, northeast and even Russia, Korea and Japan. These high-end markets have their vegetables sent from Kunming, while Luo Songnan, Guangdong, Hongkong and Macao, can do business in a certain scale and grade every year.
"The climate is unique here. We can't find such a suitable place to grow vegetables in the whole country."
The climate has become an important reason why Luo Songnan went to Kunming to find dreams in those days. It is also the primary reason for Guangdong merchants to enter vegetable trade in Yunnan, and it will also be the most advantageous condition for the growth of vegetable industry in Yunnan.
Of course, not every follower has done a very successful job. The commercial shoshang businessman who has a good sense of smell has failed to go back. "To do business is to endure hardships, but also to have a little brain, and to understand management."
This is Luo Songnan's commercial principle. Seemingly simple principles, most people can not do it.
Obviously, vegetables in Yunnan can rise to fame in the domestic and international markets, and they are inseparable from these Guangdong businessmen.
However, at present, the largest vegetable enterprises in Chenggong are not foreign but local. "The locals are naturally more competitive than us. They can rent land and get more policy support."
Until now, Luo Songnan, who does not yet have an acre of vegetable land in Kunming, knows that the local entrepreneurs who are good at local businesses are in the vegetable business.
This year, with the help of relatives and friends, Luo Songnancai took more than 3000 mu of continuous vegetable cultivation base in Yuxi. This became the largest base for continuous vegetable cultivation in Yunnan.
Luo Songnan, who made money, wanted to feel the taste of Lulu head. So in April of this year, when his vegetable plastic foam factory was put into operation, he was invited by the Guangdong chamber of Commerce to the leaders of the provinces and cities, as well as dozens of successful businessmen and family relatives in Guangdong who were doing business in Yunnan Province. They were the guests at the most famous Wuxing Hotel in Guangdong, "the century Jin Yuan". At the end of the 30 banquet, the cost of each table was nearly 10 thousand yuan.
"This is the most expensive guest I ever had in my life."
But the poor vegetable trader told reporters that it was really painful to spend 300 thousand yuan on a customer, though he felt very happy, "just to earn a face."
This is the basic driving force for Luo Songnan to pay a big price, and it is also a common way for many peasant entrepreneurs to show their own.
