Jiang Hengjie, executive vice president of China Garment Industry Association, pointed out at the meeting that the overall development of China's garment industry has four characteristics: first, the high concentration of industries.
China's clothing industry cluster is mainly distributed in the southeast coastal areas of Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong and other places. Affected by the rising cost of raw materials, the gradual appreciation of the renminbi, the weakening of labor cost advantages, the increase in pportation costs, the export tax rebate and the adjustment of the quantity management policy, the number of exports has declined, showing signs of a reduction in volume.

Under the direct promotion and guidance of positive factors such as market upgrading, resource integration, capital innovation and business innovation, the domestic market is extremely active.
When it comes to the future development trend of China's clothing industry, Jiang Hengjie believes that the first is the gradient pfer of industries.
The output of the five major provinces in China before the clothing production increased steadily and decreased slightly. The output of the central region increased, and the industry began to shift from the east to the central and western parts. Next, industrial capital flows to large enterprises.
Enterprises adopt industrial resources reorganization, brand innovation, diversification of channels, and expand financing to improve competitiveness. Large enterprises enhance their ability to resist risks through the integration of industrial capital, and the survival environment of SMEs is more severe. Third, the domestic market has become the focus of competition.
Export situation is becoming increasingly severe, clothing export has been restricted to a certain extent, many enterprises have begun to turn to the domestic market, the domestic two or three tier market has risen rapidly, and the industry has changed from the "foreign trade pulling" to the new stage of "domestic trade promotion"; fourth, business innovation and capital innovation are brilliant.
Member clubs, online fast sales, OUTLETS, tail cargo market and other new models have developed rapidly, and domestic well-known enterprises have been rid of the previous single capital mode, and have been listing and financing to obtain development funds.
China's garment enterprises are rapidly integrating into the integration of world economy and financial capital.
According to industry analysis, the overall situation of China's garment industry is that the industry is facing structural adjustment and upgrading, and the competition in the domestic market is becoming increasingly fierce and will become the focus of development.
