Henan'S Textile And Garment Exports Increased 18.4% From 1 To July.
In 08 years and 1-7 months, Henan exported 600 million dollars of textile and clothing, an increase of 18.4% over the same period last year.
Among them, general trade occupies a leading position, and the European Union, the United States, ASEAN and the United Arab Emirates are the main export markets.
Zhengzhou customs August 21st, customs statistics show that in 08 years and 1-7 months, the export of Henan textile and apparel (including textile yarn, fabrics and products, clothing and accessories), 600 million US dollars, up 18.4% over the same period in 07 years, the growth rate is nearly double that of 9.5% in the same period of 07 years.
The main characteristics of its exports are as follows:
1. General trade occupies a leading position and processing trade has increased substantially.
In 1-7 months, the general trade of textiles in Henan province was exported to US $550 million, an increase of 15.4%, accounting for 92.1% of Henan's textile exports.
Processing trade exported 50 million US dollars, an increase of 68.6%.
Two, the European Union, the United States, ASEAN and the United Arab Emirates are the main export markets.
In 1-7 months, Henan textiles exported 200 million, 44 million, 34 million US dollars and 34 million US dollars to the 4 markets respectively, which increased 18.2%, 36.5%, 40% and 52.6% respectively. The above-mentioned total accounted for the proportion of Henan's textile exports.
Three, the export of state-owned enterprises occupies half of the country.
In 1-7 months, Henan's textile state-owned enterprises exported 300 million US dollars, an increase of 11.2%, accounting for 50% of Henan's textile exports.
Private enterprises exported 140 million US dollars, an increase of 46.1%; collective enterprises exported 120 million US dollars, an increase of 4.9%; foreign invested enterprises exported US $33 million, an increase of 51.1%.
In July 31st of 08, the Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation jointly issued the notice on adjusting the export tax rebate rate for some textiles and garments. The export rebate rate of some textiles and clothing increased from 11% to 13%, and the policy has been implemented since August 1st.
The increase in export tax rebate rate will ease the pressure of losses in the textile industry in the short term and stabilize export enterprises' confidence.
In addition, 08 years from January 1st, the abolition of the quota restrictions for textile trade between China and Europe played a catalytic role in the export of our textile products to the EU market.
But in the long run, with the increase of labor costs, RMB appreciation, resources and environment, the export of low value-added textile and clothing products will not be effectively pformed, and the textile industry will still be difficult to pform from the current quantity expansion mode to the independent brand mode marked by the upgrading of quality and competitiveness.
For this reason, suggestions are made: first, increase investment in scientific research, raise the level of clothing design, create an independent brand with high reputation; two, improve product quality and enhance the added value of textiles; three, develop a marketing network in the international market, establish a direct sales outlet for exporters to reduce the cost of enterprises.
