Wang Chen Caixia: Fur Elements Add Winter Charm
When it comes to the Chinese wind, it seems that most people think of elements that are drawn from classical clothing in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, but the Chinese style should be far more than those. What do you think the Chinese style should be in the real sense?
Wang Tai: the elements of Chinese clothing come from the artistic crystallization of ancient ancestors, all of which are treasured and preserved by seaty costumes. With a respected and profound attitude, he has been working with China to develop Hangzhou brocade fabrics since 2002, and has assembled the mainland China Textile and finishing talents. With the help of modern aesthetic and sense of design training, the Chinese classical fabric is reproduced in the contemporary fashion stage. Xia Zi Chen designs and develops jacquard fabrics and drawings every quarter, and works with the Italy Centennial weaving factory to produce fabrics of international brand grade such as CHANEL, ChristianLacroix and so on, with exquisite workmanship and lines, with a view to presenting the quality and level of international brands.
As a Chinese designer, is Chinese element a shortcut to your success?
Wang Tai: there are five major embroidery methods in China, namely, Hangzhou embroidery, Suzhou embroidery, Xiang embroidery, Shu embroidery and Shantou drawnwork. These inherited classical costume art are all exquisite workmanship that Xia Ji Chen cherishes and tries to preserve and develop. Xia Zi Chen picked up the embroidery art classics of Chinese costume aesthetics, and integrated into the contemporary fashion sense design, so that every quarter of the merchandise displayed different themes of exquisite embroidery workers. With the training of modern aesthetic feeling and sense of design, efforts were made to recreate Chinese classical embroidery in the contemporary fashion stage. Because Xia Zi Chen understands the necessity of continuing the Chinese Seiko art, he can create a unique brand spirit. Xia Zi Chen Xiji takes Chinese culture as the brand feature, runs through the Western stereotactic cutting, and creates the modern Chinese fashion style of internationalization and atmosphere.
Because Xia Zichen has already been in Paris, what is the real position of the Chinese wind in the international fashion industry?
Wang Tai: the cultural aesthetics accumulated over 5000 years in China has been reinterpreted in various aspects of clothing through Xia Ti Chen's modern vocabulary. In the past thirty years, Xia Tzu Chen has developed new three-dimensional cutting technology and cloth development, striving to make a unique and successful entry into the European market, and the costume design is without borders. We also take French exquisite plate making techniques to make the garments more flexible in body lines, highlighting the graceful and natural style, and taking the weaving and dyeing technology of Italy to synchronize with the international fashion brands. Xia Tzu takes the totem image of China as the design main axis of embroidery, such as the peony water cloud symbolizing wealth and auspiciousness, the four gentlemen plum orchid bamboo chrysanthemum and so on, and innovating Chinese traditional handcraft techniques, so that the patterns are vivid and lifelike.
The innovation of material and creativity is one of the design ideas since Xia Zi Chen Changjiu. While adhering to modern Chinese style, blending western style fabric and handwork is another way for Xia Ti to show exquisite aesthetics of dress, such as trimming and trimming with pearls and ribbons, and the decoration of western style fur lapel.
The Beijing Olympic Games is a very Chinese characteristic Olympic Games. So did the Beijing Olympic Games bring you new inspiration?
Wang Tai: the Olympic Games in Beijing also swept the whole fashion industry. Xia Tzu Chen has been committed to combining many different styles. This season also combines sports with Chinese fashion. The overall feeling is very young and easy to wear, and the Olympic rings are also used in the color of this season.
There are a lot of fur elements in this show. What do you think of the use of these elements in the form of international environmental protection?
Wang Tai: the fur element has always been the material used by Xia Zi Chen. The raw materials we choose are artificial breeding instead of wild animals. They are accompanied by production certificates, which also enable consumers to feel secure when buying.
