Anta: Anticipation Of Rising Raw Material Costs
Ding Shizhong, chairman of Anta sports products (02020), said that due to the slowdown in China's exports, the company will pay more attention to the domestic market in the next two years.
He thought it was expected that the cost of raw materials would rise, and that the increase was acceptable. He said the company would raise its unit price by no more than 10% in the future.
He continued to point out that the orders on hand were ideal and had been set for the fourth quarter, so they were confident of the whole year's sales. And we expect to add 1000 new outlets this year.
In addition, the company will invest 700 million yuan to build shoe material city in Fujian and add 8 production lines, which will be put into operation in 2010.
