CPSC Recall Of Chinese Pillows Made In China
In July 22, 2008, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Sleep Innovations jointly announced the voluntary recall of China's Cuddly Comfort pillows.
The recalled Cuddly Comfort pillows were 2 packages each, with a size of 20 "26 X", divided into 5 colors: white, purple, blue, pink and yellow.
The recall is restricted to the pillows registered with PA-27156 (CA), the registration number and the "Sleep Innovations" are on the labels of the pillows.
The pillows were sold at the designated Costco shop in 2~6 2008 and priced at $20 per bag.
The number of recalled products is about 120 thousand.
The reason for the recall is that due to mechanical failure during processing, the filler of the pillows contains metal fragments, which is dangerous for users to be scratched or cut.
At present, Sleep Innovations has not received any accident reports.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that consumers immediately stop using the recalled pillows and contact Costco stores for return and full refund.
