Israel Industry Association: Appeals To The Government To Cancel Import Uniforms From China And Other Countries

The Israeli Textile Industry Association said recently that Xie Kerr's appreciation, the slowdown in the US economy and the competition among the emerging economies led to a slowdown in the export growth of textile industry.

Since the beginning of this year, the US dollar has depreciated 20% to Xie Kerr, which has greatly weakened the export competitiveness of Israeli textiles. In the 1 quarter of this year, textile exports were only 262 million dollars, down 1% from the same period last year.

The textile industry association hopes that the government will introduce support measures as soon as possible to help enterprises tide over difficulties and strongly urge the government to cancel uniforms such as uniforms and police uniforms imported from China and other countries, so that it can be produced by local enterprises.
