On the 18 day, the Shenyang clothing (apparel) Industry Association held a general meeting. Lou Jinghong, Secretary General of the trade association, said that Shenyang's clothing export industry encountered some difficulties due to the impact of the international financial turmoil, the rising cost of raw materials and the shortage of labor force.
Data show that Shenyang garment enterprises completed export delivery value of US $137 million last year, down 2.8% compared to the same period last year.
This year, Shenyang's clothing and textile industry will also face the impact of the global economic deterioration, but "fortunately, the excellent backbone enterprises have a good momentum of development."
