Shanghai Textile Technology Service Exhibition Center, affiliated with Shanghai Textile Holding (Group) Company (formerly Shanghai Textile Bureau), was founded in April 1992, and its predecessor was Shanghai textile technology service exhibition company, founded in 1984. It is one of the largest professional textile exhibition exhibitions in China.

Since the successful launching of the first Shanghai International Textile Industry Exhibition (ShanghaiTex) in Shanghai in 1984, hundreds of textile professional exhibitions and high-tech seminars have been organized.

Among the many textile professional exhibitions hosted by the center, the Shanghai International Textile Industry Exhibition (Shanghaitex) and the Shanghai Shanghai (Fashion) have become well-known and influential professional exhibitions in China and the world.

Based on the Shanghai Textile Engineering Society and the "air jet loom technical collaboration network", the new high-tech collaboration network, which is a professional promotion agency for textile high and new technology, was established in 1992 from the Textile Engineering Society of China. A series of "water jet looms technical collaboration network", "dyeing and finishing technical cooperation network", "new high-tech network of clothing materials", "new spinning technology collaboration network" and "industrial textile technology collaboration network" have been set up, and more than 1300 members from all over the country have been incorporated.
