US Department Of Agriculture Is Expected To Adjust Cotton Supply And Demand Slightly.
According to New York's April 7th news, the US Department of agriculture (USDA) is expected to not make a major adjustment to 2008/09's cotton production in this week's monthly supply and demand report, as the focus has shifted to the next crop.
The US Department of agriculture will announce the April supply and demand report on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. EDT (1230 GMT).
Flanagan Trading Corp said in the daily review: "we expect that the US and global cotton supply and demand data will not change much in this report."
First Capitol Group's cotton expert Sharon Johnson said in its report that the May supply data will contain the first estimate of USDA for the 2009/10 market year (August /7).
