60 Years Facing The New Challenges: Building A Global Vision And Finding The International Situation
At the dawn of China's economic response to the international financial crisis, the Communist Party of China ushered in its 88 year old birthday.
After 60 years in power, the Chinese Communist Party has led China into the third largest economy in the world, and the international financial crisis has "unwittingly" placed China under the spotlight of the global stage.
Observers pointed out that although domestic affairs remain the top priority of the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party, they need to devote more and more time and energy to international affairs. Even if they solve domestic problems or formulate domestic policies, they must take more account of the influence of international factors.
"To build a global vision and coordinate the development of the two major international and domestic situations, the challenge for the Chinese Communist Party has never been as great as it is today."
Li Daokui, director of China and world economic research center, Tsinghua University, said.
China's leaders' busy international schedules gave a vivid footnote: President Hu Jintao went to the United States and Britain to attend the G20 summit after the global financial crisis in September last year. After attending the first "BRICs four" leaders meeting in Russia last month, President Hu will go to Italy next week to attend the dialogue between the group of eight leaders (G8) and leaders of developing countries.

"As a responsible member of the international community, China has always been actively involved in international cooperation in coping with the international financial crisis."
President Hu said at a G20 summit in London in April this year.
Just before that meeting, Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the people's Bank of China, published an article entitled "the ideal goal of the reform of the international monetary system" is "creating an international reserve currency that is decoupled from the sovereign state and can maintain the long-term stability of the currency".

"The financial crisis will lead to a reshuffle of the international financial system, which is a major opportunity for China in fifty or even a hundred years," said Tang Min, Deputy Secretary General of the China Development Research Foundation.
He analyzed that when China started reform and opening up 30 years ago, most of the rules of the international game had been worked out. China could only follow the "international practice" to achieve economic take-off.
In the early days, China's feeling of being restrained by the existing international rules was not very strong. But now China is already the third largest economy in the world, and its development is increasingly restricted by the existing international rules.
Tang Min pointed out that China should still abide by international rules in the future, but in the face of rare opportunities to reestablish international rules, we should also be willing to make timely demands for interests and lay the foundation for development in the next few decades.
From the perspective of the great history since the Opium War in 1840, the Communist Party of China shoulders the important mission of saving the nation from extinction and realizing the prosperity of the people and the country.
60 years after the ruling of the Communist Party of China, the Chinese people are getting closer and closer to the great dream of national rejuvenation.
Observers point out that in the future, China needs to plan national development on a global platform.
Li Daokui believes that China should first learn from international experience to "do its job well" and the core is to consolidate the social foundation of economic development.
He pointed out that from 1870 to 1914, some European countries which had developed economically greatly strengthened the basic welfare of housing, medical care and other people's livelihood. Now, China has arrived at this time. If there is no harmonious society as the foundation, the economic development of the country will be tortuous and even retrogressive.
The expert likened that China, like Yao Ming, who was 16 years old, was already a little giant above 2 meters. He was striking, but his strength was not enough, technology was not enough, and he knew little about the rules of the game.
China's economic aggregate has ranked the third in the world, but its international experience and operation ability are obviously insufficient, and it is difficult to buy the resources needed to hold large foreign exchange.
"The ruling party of China should actively and modesty learn international capabilities and train large numbers of political, economic and cultural talents with international vision and international experience."
Li Daokui said.
The new challenges faced by the Chinese Communist Party in planning the international situation are, in fact, "dangerous" and "machine".
For example, the international financial crisis has worsened the external environment of China's economic development for a short time, and the external demand has shrunk. This forced China to speed up the pace of industrial restructuring and expand domestic demand.
Despite the fact that China's economy is now on the rise and fall, Premier Wen Jiabao has recently stressed that Shandong must attach importance to structural adjustment in the steady and rapid economic growth, grasp the intensity, rhythm and way of structural adjustment, and achieve sound and rapid development of the national economy.
The 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward the strategic thinking of coordinating the two overall situations at home and abroad. Li Daokui believes that this indicates that China's ruling party has realized that almost all Chinese affairs are related to the world today, and vice versa.
Last month, China unveiled a move aimed at eliminating discriminatory practices in local bidding, but the result was the protectionism of some foreign media as "buying Chinese goods".
China hopes to install "Green Dam" software in the computer to protect young people from pornographic information. It also causes suspicion, confusion and even criticism.
"Whether you like it or not, China's domestic affairs may cause others to talk about it," Li Daokui said. "China can not ignore the possible international response when formulating domestic policies."
International factors are increasingly influencing China's domestic policies.
In the context of curbing global warming and becoming a hot topic in international politics and politics, China has unveiled ambitious plans for new energy development, such as wind power and solar energy. In the the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, not far away from Beijing, the increasing number of wind turbines on the sandstorm channel is very strong.

Not long ago, the US House of Representatives passed the "clean energy security act of the United States" with a narrow majority. It first put forward a timetable for reducing greenhouse gases in the United States.
Li Daokui pointed out that the bill in the United States will put pressure on China.
"We expect all members of the Chinese ruling party to pay more attention to international affairs, to think and study the major international issues, to learn from the border, to master international rules and strategies and to accelerate the process of modernization in China."
