Ten Years Of Shoe Fair Show Charm Shoes

The twelfth China (Jinjiang) International Footwear Expo will be held in Jinjiang, China's footwear capital, on April 19, 2010.
In 1999, China's (Jinjiang) international footwear industry came into being with the support of a fine division of labor and a complete set of Jinjiang footwear industry chain and production collaboration group.
After eleven years of sharpening, the shoe Fair has experienced the development process from scratch, from small to large, from coarse to fine.
Today, China (Jinjiang) International Footwear Expo has become a national professional footwear exhibition, with the role of industry vane, and has been rated as one of the ten great attraction exhibitions in China.
In March 19, 1999, the first shoe Fair held in Jinjiang was like 20 years ago, when Chen Dai people began to run shoes factories in the city of Jinjiang.
After a year or so of deliberation, a group of government workers who had no experience in exhibition went to some professional exhibitions in the field, and finally held the first Jinjiang (International) footwear Expo.
Although the scale of the first shoe Fair is still relatively small, exhibitors are almost all local businesses in Jinjiang, and there are not many international buyers. The booth layout and business benefits are not ideal yet, but after all, a new thing begins in Jinjiang.
At that time, shortly after the Asian financial crisis ended, the first shoe Fair attracted nearly 10 passengers in Jinjiang, a relatively remote Jinjiang SM Luoshan International Plaza. It was somewhat unimaginable.
In the political and commercial circles of Jinjiang, the first shoe fair was born and opened up a new era for the development of shoe leather industry in Jinjiang.
Next, every shoe Fair is held in splendour and highlights, becoming an important part of Jinjiang's economic life.
In 2000, the opening time of the second Jinjiang (International) footwear Expo was changed from March 19th to April 19th.
Since then, "4.19" has been closely linked with the Jinjiang shoe fair.
The second shoe Fair attracted 193 exhibitors from 15 countries and regions in Germany, Italy, France, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hongkong and Taiwan, accounting for 22.5% of the total number of exhibitions and 20% of the international exhibition countries.
From this shoe fair, exhibitors and buyers of different colors and languages can be seen everywhere. The international color of the Expo has been quite strong. Jinjiang shoe enterprises have begun to do business with overseas businesses at home.
With the gradual improvement of the exhibition's influence at home and abroad, the popularity of Jinjiang city has also greatly increased, and the image of the city has been improved. In the opening ceremony of the shoe Expo 2001, Jinjiang was awarded the title of "China Shoes Capital". The acquisition of the city's name card made Jinjiang people feel proud of themselves.
By 2002, the number of countries (regions) has reached 31, and 21 provinces (cities and districts) have joined in, and it is worth mentioning that more and more Taiwan enterprises are also appearing in the shoe fair.
Although the scale of the four shoe Fair is not large and its functions are relatively simple, under the leadership of the government, the goal of "small local exhibitions" has been achieved. The relevant supporting facilities of the exhibition have been gradually improved, and exhibitors have been increasing and the impact is expanding.
In 2003, it was a landmark year for the development of Jinjiang shoe fair.
This year, approved by the State Council, the fifth Jinjiang shoe fair was co sponsored by the Fujian Provincial People's government and China Light Industry Federation. The China Leather Industry Association, China leather and footwear industry research institute, Fujian provincial foreign trade and Economic Cooperation Department, Fujian Township Enterprises Bureau, Quanzhou Municipal People's Government Co sponsored the Jinjiang Municipal People's government.
At this point, the "Jinjiang (International) footwear industry exposition", which has been used for four years, has been renamed "China (Jinjiang) International Footwear exposition". At the support of various departments and efforts of Jinjiang, a regional exhibition has been upgraded to a state-level international shoe making industry exhibition. Its influence and brand effect are constantly expanding, and the exhibition is beginning to stride toward marketization and scale.
In the sixth exhibition, the Italy shoe making and Tanning Machinery Association organized the "Italy Legion" exhibition, bringing the advanced shoemaking machinery, and promoting the shoe fair from promoting sales to pformation, to the service industry, and promoting the upgrading of technology and quality in the industry.
The seventh organizing committee has carried out drastic reform and innovation in the exhibition management, implemented meticulous service, and attracted more and more customers' participation. The international exhibition has become more and more intense. This professional exhibition has become an important window to show Jinjiang's economic development, cultural dissemination, urban construction and social harmony.
After 2006, the Jinjiang Shoe Fair has been further adjusted and upgraded to fine, specialization and internationalization.
On the basis of scale, we pay more attention to the quality of exhibitors, provide more professional services, and broaden the international road.
In order to strengthen cross-strait economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, the Eighth China (Jinjiang) International Footwear Expo held Taiwan Pavilion for the first time, and set up a bridge for Taiwan's related industries to invest in the mainland.
The ninth Shoe Fair has been held through the international exchange activities such as "Italy fashion shoes exhibition" and "Adidas chief designer lecture".
On the eve of the tenth shoe fair, the national sports industry base has just settled in Jinjiang, and Jinjiang is officially positioned as a sports city.
The industry and the city spanned the footwear Expo of the 2008 China Olympic year. With the theme of "brand Jinjiang and run-up to the Olympics", the first comprehensive layout Hall of "China Sports City Jinjiang" was set up to focus on the latest products of famous brands at home and abroad, such as China Anta, double star, riches and birds, XTEP, elde, Philharmonic, 361 degree, and Germany BAYER (Bai Er) and Japan BARUDAN (Behringer).
In 2009, the world suffered from the impact of the international financial crisis. The eleventh shoe fair took the theme of "fashionable shoes and confidence and warm spring" as the theme.
The data of this year's shoe Fair have reached a new trend. Apart from the three traditional exhibition areas, such as shoe machine, shoe material and footwear product hall, there are also China famous brand products Museum, science and technology achievement Museum and small and medium enterprises exhibitors hardcover area. There are 1350 international standard booths.
During the exhibition, more than 400 famous enterprises in more than 20 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) and 16 countries and regions were attracted to participate in the exhibition. The contract volume reached 5 billion 760 million yuan, an increase of 8.2%, and the flow of 50 thousand people / times, which fully demonstrated the international brand effect and strong investment attraction ability of the shoe fair.
The venue of the upcoming Shoe Fair will be moved from Jinjiang SM Plaza to China's flag city. This year's shoe Fair will take the theme of "meeting shoes and passionate Haixi" as the theme. With the opportunity of the strategic upgrading of the west coast, it will strive to provide an ideal platform for domestic and overseas footwear enterprises to display their strength, seize business opportunities, enhance cooperation and win mutual benefits. It will display the achievements of Jinjiang's economic development to businessmen at home and abroad, reflect the achievements of Fujian's Haixi construction, and promote the comprehensive recovery and rapid development of Jinjiang, Haixi and even the whole nation's shoe-making enterprises, and further enhance the brand image of "China Shoes Capital" and "China Sports City" Jinjiang.
The exhibition area of this shoe Fair will be 50000 square meters and 1600 international standard booths will be set up.
We will set up three exhibition areas: footwear products, footwear machinery and shoe accessories, specially set up brand product Museum and small and medium enterprises exhibitors hardcover area. The exhibition range includes footwear manufactures, shoe materials and auxiliaries, chemical raw materials, shoe machines, leather, machinery and equipment, leather products and related scientific research design, information publications, books, etc.
