Shoe Industry Summit Forum To Discuss Industrial Standardization Construction

2010 China sporting goods standardization Summit Forum was held in Jinjiang, Fujian on 19 th.

According to Qi Xiaoxia, the Secretary General of the national footwear Standardization Technical Committee, there are a total of 232 national standards and industry standards for footwear in China, of which 80 are national standards.

The relevant standards play a direct role in guiding the production and quality improvement of footwear products. In solving quality complaints and quality disputes, they play an active role in safeguarding the interests of consumers and enterprises, maintaining market order, and ensuring the healthy and stable development of China's footwear industry.

The Anta Sports Products Limited, the deputy secretary-general of the national sports goods Standardization Technical Committee, has been involved in the drafting of 4 national standards for travel shoes, basket volleyball professional sports shoes since 2005.

Zhang Tao, vice president of Anta, said that by improving and establishing standardized system and actively participating in national standardization work, the quality level of Anta products was enhanced, which provided strong technical support for the standardization work of the industry.

Zhang Tao and other industry insiders also pointed out that the new material and technology of the sporting goods industry are changing rapidly. Some product standards are lagging behind, or some enterprises do not attach importance to standardization.

At the same time, because the international standard tracking system is not perfect, some enterprises are facing passive situations when they suffer from foreign technical barriers to trade.
