From 1978 to 2008, China's clothing industry has increased 53 times its total output from thirty to 2008, and has reached 6 million 210 thousand peaks in 2007. Domestic consumption has increased by more than 54 times, and export earning has increased by 163 times, forming 50 industrial clusters. These 50 industrial clusters account for 80% of the country's clothing output.
This is a miracle in the history of world clothing development.
The most fundamental reason for China's continuous high-speed development in the past 30 years is the pull of the market.
After thirty years of development, the processing capacity of China's garment industry has been very deep. Deep processing technology has been very standardized, and has developed an efficient and high-energy technology team. The most advanced production equipment in the world has been adopted by many Chinese enterprises. Information technology is widely applied in all aspects of the industrial chain, and more importantly, the complete industrial chain is the material guarantee for the future development of China's garment industry.

Secondly, China's fashion culture should have the right of international discourse.
In London, Milan, New York, Tokyo and other world fashion centers, Chinese clothing should be accompanied by the improvement of the status and reputation of the country and establish a permanent fashion style instead of a flash in the pan. Once again, the influence of Chinese clothing brands should radiate the whole world, create famous brands that are recognized by the world, leave behind a story, connotation and moving brand culture, and express them to consumers through the market. Finally, Chinese garment enterprises should start to have strong global market control power, play a certain influence on the global market of clothing, and further enhance their ability to resist risks.
To realize this dream of powerful nation, the Chinese garment industry must carry out the "four modernizations" breakthrough.
