The city's 750 thousand power loom produces about 30 million meters of grey cloth per day to meet the demand of 40% of China's man-made fabrics.

The grey cloth produced by the weaving factory is sold to 50000 textile dealers in the 140 textile markets in the Ring Road area of the city.

Weaving enterprises say that the police and district governments are not acting as a way to allow speculators to increase the number of economic cases in the textile market.

In the past 6 months, weaving enterprises have lost 1 billion 500 million rupees due to arrears of payments.

Devesh Patel, President of Ved road weaving Association, said that cases of delinquent payments are increasing and our enterprises are bleeding.

We need the full protection of the Textile Federation, the police and the local government. Only in this way can we crack down on the swindlers in these markets.
