WWF&Nbsp; 30Th Anniversary Public Welfare Environmental Concert: Low Carbon Element Prevails
In 2006, the World Expo Coordination Bureau of Shanghai issued an invitation to the Swiss headquarters of WWF.
After several rounds of consultations, WWF headquarters and the Chinese government formally signed the exhibition contract in July 14, 2008.
In January 13, 2009, the World Expo Bureau officially confirmed that June 5, 2010 will be the WWF honorary Hall of World Expo.
June 5, 2010 is both the annual World Environment Day and the climax node of WWF's 30th anniversary series of celebrations in China.
To this end, WWF will take advantage of this special opportunity of World Expo honorary hall day to carry out a series of celebrations, including cultural performances.

WWF 30th anniversary public welfare environmental Concert (June 5th evening 7:00-9:00)
The WWF low carbon concert will be a outdoor concert featuring low carbon environmental protection concept. It will be held at Expo square in Puxi Park, World Expo.
The concert will be co sponsored by WWF and China Radio International HIT FM, inviting excellent musicians and bands at home and abroad to perform, together with popular music, rock and roll, jazz, R&B and ethnic groups.
The low carbon elements of this concert are mainly reflected in:
1, some of the concert's energy will be renewable energy.
2, interlude the launching ceremony of "Earth Hour"
3, the carbon emissions generated by the performance (air travel, etc.) will be neutralized through the purchase of carbon sinks.
