    College introduction

      



    In 1841, ALEXIS LAVIGNE, a famous French clothing cutting master, designed and founded the first fashion Institute in the world, the French ESMOD High School of fashion art, Alex Lavigne.

    Since then, ESMOD has become one of the most important training centers in the global textile and garment industry.

    As a fashion college with a long history and outstanding contribution, ESMOD is famous throughout the industry and is known as "Harvard in fashion".

      



    Its academic qualifications are unanimously recognized by the French government and the world's industry.

    Every year, more than 3000 graduates holding the diploma of ESMOD college are hot, and are highly respected and held in key positions in the world.

    ESMOD has maintained close ties with the international apparel industry and has established close relations with the world's giant groups such as LVMH and ANDRE.

    For our school students, ESMOD will set up detailed tracking files for them and actively provide them with opportunities to create various internships and jobs.

      



    Among the ESMOD graduates, world-class fashion masters emerge in endlessly, such as Ai Sijie, the Turkey fashion designer of the world famous brand (Ece), and Katerina Malandrino, the famous fashion designer (CATHRINE MALANDRINO), who is the top French fashion designer in the United States, who ranks the top of the "future million rich sister". In Paris, she created the famous brand "e" Norway fashion design and board making teacher Gus, the world famous brand "Paris spring" and the French national opera stage designer Frank Sobel, the world famous brand "Dior, Dolaed & Gabana" fur clothing designer, and so on, the world's top fashion designer and plate maker, and so on, the world famous brand (Ece MALANDRINO).

      



    The charm of ESMOD has also attracted many Chinese students to study in France, and has trained a number of talents for China's fashion industry.

    Such as "China's top ten fashion designers", Chen Mili, deputy director of China Fashion Association Women's wear Specialized Committee and the director of the China Fashion Designers Association, is currently Zhang Fan, the chief designer of Shenzhen Zhang Fan Clothing Co., Ltd., the registered clothing brand is "Ainu Jiao" and "A.Joy", and is currently the ESMOD student Luo Zheng of general manager and design director of Shenzhen grace silk garments Co., Ltd.

      



    The school has a clothing information center and a fabric store.

    Because the school is closely related to the French clothing enterprises, it can provide 600 internship opportunities to the whole school every year.

    The school holds the student clothing design exhibition in Paris every June.

    The curriculum of the college is divided into three specialties: fashion design, plate making and fashion marketing and management.

    There are many public courses in fashion design and plate making. The college allows and encourages students to study these two specialties simultaneously.

    The course of the college is three years, and the crash course is one year and two years according to the specific conditions of students.

    In the first year of fashion design and plate making, English class is offered.

      



    PACORABANNE, HERMES, LAPIDUS and other world famous fashion designers are members of the school graduation examination committee.

    ESMOD graduates or enter the world famous brand clothing companies, such as CHRISTIAN DIOR, GIVENCHY, GUY LAROCHE, YVES SAINT LAURENT, or enter the big shop, such as the French "old Buddha", "spring", "Carrefour" clothing department, or enter the clothing news unit, such as "ELLE"; or start their own clothing company, clothing design center.

    7 hours a week, French grammar, 7 hours of conversation, 6 hours of fashion work, to understand the fashion situation in Paris (visiting designer studios, museums and shops), 15 hours of computer aided design.

    B. symbol and technical sketch, coloring, layout and completion of men's wear, women's wear, children's wear and ready-made clothes.



    Ii. studies textile and garment accessories: fashion collections, clothing collections, creations of designers, and international fashion trends.



    III. technology course: document research, drawing of real models (shape and motion), material identification, and computer aided design enlightenment.



    IV. culture: fashion history, fashion network, English



    B. second school year (product and case study)



    I. works with teachers to simulate the functions of industrial design: production of a series, tidal current research, identification, creative design display and development, clothing products.



    Ii. Technology: Textile trends, printing and dyeing, trademarks, weaving, weaving materials and so on.



    III. culture: history and fashion Psychology - Sociology, marketing, case studies, English, Market Research

    B. second school year (clothing materials and ready-made garments)



    I. understands the functions of professional template designers through specific cases: producing a series, trend research, creative design display and development, clothing products.

    G. Europe and international relations: the new international environment, the current trend of the world's political geography and economic geography, the European Union, business groups and regional organizations, globalization and its influence.
