Sichuan Normal University Holds The First Symposium On Fashion Design In China

The first China fashion design Seminar and costume design exhibition opened on 05 27 2010 at the Chengdu Art Museum of East Campus of Sichuan Normal University. This is a high-level and cutting-edge academic seminar jointly sponsored by the China Fashion Designers Association and Sichuan Normal University.

The conference was organized by the technical committee of China Fashion Designers Association, the Institute of clothing and clothing culture of Sichuan Normal University and the Career Academy of Sichuan.

More than 60 people attended the conference.

The conference was held for the first time in China. Most of the experts and scholars participated in the conference were the first class academic leaders in the discipline.

To explore new ideas and new ideas of teaching innovation and introduce new developments in the international and domestic garment industry in this regard.

The conference has three characteristics: first, it is the first time that the national garment industry and clothing colleges have held such academic meetings. Second, because the experts attending the conference are mostly first-class experts and scholars in China, so the academic content is high. Third, the significance of the conference is to enhance the status of costume design in the clothing industry and higher education of clothing. It is of great practical significance to reform and explore the personnel training mode of clothing colleges and universities, and attach importance to training more clothing application talents to meet the needs of such talents in modern international and domestic fields.

The conference received more than 30 papers and nearly 50 works.

The edited articles will publish outstanding works and excellent papers in related core journals.

The event has been invited to a number of media reports such as China Education Daily, China Textile News, clothing times, China apparel network, Sichuan science and education channel, Sichuan news network and many other media.

In the same period, China held its first training course for pre teacher training teachers.
