China Amends Administrative Supervision Law &Nbsp; Leakage Of Informant Information Can Catch Criminal Responsibility.

The eleven session of the fifteenth Standing Committee of the National People's Congress adopted the decision on Amending the administrative supervision law on the afternoon of 25.

The revised administrative supervision law has expanded the scope of the object of supervision and added a provision: the supervisory organ applies this law to the organizations authorized by laws and regulations, those with public affairs management functions, and those who are engaged in public affairs and the state administrative organs entrusted by law to engage in public affairs management activities and to perform official duties.

At the same time, the amendment of the law also increased the protection of whistleblowers, stipulates: "supervisory organs should accept reports and investigate and deal with them according to law; those who report real names should reply to the results of the treatment."

"The supervisory organ shall confidentiality of the reports, the reports and the relevant information of the informants, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the informants. The specific measures shall be formulated by the State Council."

The amendment also adds a provision: disclosure of reports, reports and admissibility, and information related to the whistle blower, shall be punished according to law; if a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated in accordance with the law.
