New EU Regulation: Identification Of Organic Products
Europe's new organic product logo has been mandatory since July 1st and has appeared in organic food and beverage packaging.
The new logo is made up of twelve stars and some leaf shaped patterns. The purpose is to convey "confidence" information to consumers and tell consumers that their products are in line with EU organic agriculture.

However, the industry's identification of existing products can last until January 1, 2012.
For imported products, the logo is still subject to the principle of voluntariness.
National, regional or private labels will also be allowed to appear next to the organic label of product packaging.
According to the new EU regulations, organic products have the following characteristics:
More than 95% of the product components are organic production;
The product is in conformity with the statutory inspection plan rules;
The product is directly removed from the sealed package of the producer or the modulator.
The product contains producers, regulators and
