As a visiting professor of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology and chairman of the Italy Sardinia Cultural Exchange Association, Ms. Lu Anna Wang is the creator of this project.

She said that 2011 is the centenary birthday of the revolution of 1911. In order to commemorate Sun Zhongshan's world-renowned great man, promote the world's lasting peace and common prosperity, realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and build a "world city", the "Centennial Chinese fashion" project launched at the end of August this year will open the first leg of the tour in Beijing in March 2011. The fashion conference of Zhongshan dress and Chinese dress will be held. Then it will be extended to other major world fashion capital, from Milan trip, Paris trip, London tour and New York tour to Tokyo, so that the world can understand the Centennial Chinese fashion.

According to Lu Anna Wang, this year, the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy was 40th anniversary. According to the agreement reached between the two governments, the Italy cultural year in China was officially launched in September 1st. The Centennial Chinese fashion project sponsored by the Italy Cultural Exchange Association of Italy has been included in the official activities of the Chinese culture year in Italy.

In October 2009, at the 50 anniversary celebration forum of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, Anna Wang advocated for the first time to walk out of a "Chinese fashion" suited to Chinese culture.

She proposed that we should not continue to carry out the Chinese ancient culture without any changes, nor pursue the western fashion blindly. Chinese people should inherit the Chinese tunic suits and cheongsam into the fashion elements of the world, and create a "Chinese fashion" with a sense of "Chinese feeling" in front of the world.

As a Chinese intangible cultural heritage, "Zhongshan suit" is a symbol of Chinese men's clothing. It gives people a confidence and strength. It contains strong designers' subjective wishes and design ideals, and will blend with the background and mission of Chinese history.

In 2011, we will usher in the centenary of the revolution of 1911. Anna, Miss Wang, thinks that this is the best opportunity to show the world a hundred years of Chinese fashion.

She said that the reason why Beijing was chosen as the first stop of the event was the goal of Beijing's construction of a world city.

According to reports, in March of this year, Beijing's position on the construction of "world city" was approved by the State Council.

The first step in the positioning of Beijing's urban development goals is the general framework of Beijing's urban master plan (2004 to 2020). The first step is to build the basic framework of modern international cities. The second step is to build a modern international city in 2020, and the third step is to become a world City in 2050.

As a planner for launching the "Centennial Chinese fashion" project in the world city, Anna Wang said that a lot of work has been done before the launch of the activity. At present, the work of contacting the Song Qingling foundation and the former residence of Mr. Sun Zhongshan, Guangdong Zhongshan Cui Heng village is in progress.

The Italy Sardinia Cultural Exchange Association, led by Luanna Wang, is a non-profit high-end social organization. Its three major alliances include the international fashion alliance, the international wine alliance and the International Tourism Alliance.

The purpose of the association is to "bridge the economic and cultural communication in the fashion economy", give full play to the regional advantages and promote the cooperation between China and Italy in the social, economic and cultural fields.

Members of the association include government officials, entrepreneurs, artists, colleges and so on.

As chairman of the association, Lu Anna Wang has planned and organized many economic activities of fashion culture in China and Italy, including the 2009 Sino Italian international Sardinia in Italy.
