Youxi textile equipment factory is the first production enterprise in Fujian.

In July 1972, the factory purchased the bobbin stripper.

In 1975, Youxi County textile equipment factory successfully developed a high precision weft wood tube by many times, and the output reached 455 thousand and 800.

As the main parameters of the product reach the FS-1007-78 standard, the textile industry ministry and the provincial textile industry company have been designated as the fixed-point production enterprises of the bobbin products since the following year.

In that year, the factory achieved an industrial output value of 552 thousand and 900 yuan and realized a profit of 105 thousand and 400 yuan.

In February of the same year, 30 thousand pagodas were exported to Kampuchea through the Shanghai Textile Bureau's foreign aid channels.

In 1976, the province produced a total of 1 million 43 thousand and 100 kinds of bobbins.

Since 1977, the textile industry in Fujian has been developing rapidly and the demand for bobbins has increased substantially.

To meet the needs of renewal and increase of bobbin varieties, Youxi textile equipment factory purchased 16 sets of equipment such as stripper, eye drill and all-optical vehicle from Nantong textile equipment factory and Shanghai eighth textile machinery factory, and 10 sets of self-supporting equipment.

That year increased output to 1 million 120 thousand, double the output of 1976.

Over the next few years, annual output increased steadily.

In 1978, Taining textile equipment factory began to build the doffing pagoda pipe production line, and the trial production was successful in October 1st of the same year.

Mass production was put into production at the end of 1979, and the output was 122 thousand and 400 in that year.

In 1980, 128 thousand and 800 sets of wooden bobbins were produced from the textile equipment workshop of Fuzhou match factory.

So far, there are 4 textile equipment manufacturers in Youxi, Jianyang, Taining and Fuzhou. Among them, the textile equipment workshop of the Fuzhou match factory has stopped production for two years because of the sale of its products.

In 1981, the province produced 3 million 60 thousand kinds of bobbins.

The highest output was since the development of the product.

The annual output of bobbins in 1981 was 25 times higher than that in 1973.

In the past 1973~1981 years, the province has produced 11 million 696 thousand and 100 kinds of bobbins.

In the early 80s to the middle period, in order to meet the demand of Fujian textile industry for bobbins, wooden tubes began to pform to paper bobbins and plastic bobbins.

The sales of wooden bobbins were not smooth, and the annual output decreased year by year. By 1984, the wooden bobbins in the province had dropped to 1 million 538 thousand and 500, with a drop of 49.8%, becoming the lowest year of production since 1981, and the decrease in output of the Youxi textile equipment factory was 46.5%.

Jianyang textile equipment factory dropped by 38.1%.

In the same year, Youxi textile equipment factory exported 10 thousand pagoda tubes to Zambia through the Shandong Textile Bureau foreign aid group.

In 1985, all textile equipment factories in the province adapted to the needs of textile mills, and developed various kinds of paper bobbins. After that, the annual output began to pick up.

In April 1986, Taining textile equipment factory invested 740 thousand yuan, and developed the production line of chemical fiber paper bobbins.

It was put into mass production in October 8th of the same year.

In 1987, in addition to producing 278 thousand and 200 wooden bobbins, the factory also increased the production of 1 million 598 thousand and 500 paper bobbins.

Among them are drafting textured yarn (DTY), 929 thousand and 200 paper bobbins, 48 thousand and 800 expanded extruded filament yarn (BCF) paper bobbins, and 410 thousand and 500 pneumatic spinning paper bobbins.

The production of paper bobbins produced by the factory in 1987 accounted for 49.96% of the total bobbins in the province, up to 91.89% at the end of 80s, and became the only state owned enterprise in Fujian to produce textile equipment fixed-point.

In 1987, the draft drawn textured yarn (DTY) produced by the factory was made of paper bobbin and pre oriented yarn (POY) with paper bobbins to reach the advanced and domestic average advanced level in China and fill the gap in the province.

The drawing and texturing yarn (DTY) of the factory has won the three prize of Municipal Science and technology projects with paper bobbins.

In the same year, the plant invested 619 thousand yuan, and newly developed cans of paper tube products. The production line was put into operation in October 18, 1988.

This product passed the provincial appraisal in December of the same year, reached the advanced level in China, and once again filled the gap in the province.

That year produced 2 million 896 thousand and 400 pieces of paper bobbin.

The output in 1989 and 1990 was 2 million 735 thousand and 6 million 653 thousand and 300, respectively, and the paper bobbin increased significantly, while the wooden tube only accounted for 0.14% of the total bobbin of the factory.

At the same time, the output of wooden bobbin from Jianyang textile equipment factory decreased from 1 million 100 thousand in 1980 to 130 thousand in 1990, with a drop of 88.2%.

Youxi textile equipment factory decreased by 89%.

In the late 90s, the output of wooden bobbins decreased, and the production of paper bobbins increased significantly. So in 1990, the production of various bobbins in the province was still as high as 6 million 976 thousand and 200, creating the highest level of yarn production history.

In the past 1973~1990 years, the province has produced 42 million 137 thousand and 800 kinds of bobbins.
