The History Of Hermes
The classic craftsmanship brand from France, Hermes, originally originated in the first half of the nineteenth Century, a humble saddle and harness workshop in Paris.
In the 1867 World Expo, the Hermes saddle was awarded the first prize by the jury.
In twentieth Century, Hermes continued to develop high-grade harness business. International celebrities were ordering Hermes products, and its workshop at No. 24, Fu Bao Avenue, Paris, was renowned for its exquisite workmanship in Europe.
The family's third generation successor, Mr. Emile-Maurice Hermes, introduced the zipper to Europe. He previewed many innovative uses of the zippers and managed to obtain exclusive use of the patent, not only for the use of zippers on leather products, but also for fashion.
