Lin Jieqi's profound reflection on the theme of environmental protection

Lin Jieqi said, and this competition is the best proof.

From the third year of the Shanghai Design School of The China Academy of Art, she is the first place in the eastern final of this casual wear design competition.

Unlike those who aspire to become designers, Jie Qi said that he liked painting at first, and then chose the specialty of fashion design when he was in University.

"I took my interest in painting and took me on the road of clothing."

She said with a smile.

In the face of the theme of "green action" given by this competition, many of the players chose similar environmental themes. Some even set their own design themes on the "green movement". Lin Jieqi chose a The Jellyfish's temptation, which is literally unrelated to environmental protection.

But in fact, this is the mystery. "As you said at first, my work is not like other players. It can be seen from a glance that it is related to environmental protection.

Indeed, I feel that the theme of "green movement" does not necessarily have to be green or anything. I think it can be compared with my colorless system to trigger the so-called green moving color system.

Lin Jieqi's work is the best practice. The whole costume state is a bionic mode, which spreads around the jellyfish, because she feels that the jellyfish's feeling of floating up and down can make her think of a vigorous upward spirit.

"I use wrinkles as the design elements, and those grey cotton padded jackets are more, meaning a kind of damage to the environment, leaving behind a knot in shape. The shape is bionic, and the fabric is also contrasted with hemp and chemical fiber."

Unlike those who only use color and green materials to express their fashion, Lin Jie Qi's expression is more daring, but he also touches on the essence of "green movement", a reflection on human behavior.

This kind of introspection came from a student with almost no social experience in the design department of University, and had to be appreciated.

In Lin Jieqi's view, the best fashion design is both artistic and practical. "I prefer simple, but designed clothes. I dress almost the same, and my clothes are very simple, but one of them is designed."

She appreciates Alexander Wang's design and thinks he is a master of structure.

Zhang Youchuan's avant-garde slightly weird design style.

Chongqing girl Zhang Youchuan is the third place in the eastern conference area. At present, she is a senior student in Shanghai University of Engineering Science. "Cunning" she set her own theme at the beginning as "Likee arth, Like me!" (like the earth, like me!)

It is difficult to win the prize if people like the earth and love it.

Of course, this is a joke. In fact, Zhang Youchuan is hoping to protect the earth with the theme of environmental protection.

Zhang Youchuan's inspiration came from female explorers. "I want to show their brave spirit in my design. I mainly use the gradation of the earth color system and some natural fabrics to show."

She said she is also an adventurer and intends to practice it later.

She did not conceal her love for fashion design. "I loved fashion design ever since I was young, and I always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer."

At the age of three or four, Chuan was a very special child. "Other kids like watching animated cartoons. I don't like it. I liked foreign films at that time. I think foreign girls are very good-looking, and they wear beautiful clothes. Then I will draw them often and design clothes for them."

It wasn't until college that Zhang Youchuan began to really get into professional fashion design.

And the fashion design has never stopped calling her. "I like Alexander McCune best. I set my goal after going to university to see him one day, but I'm sorry he's gone."

This will make her a little regret, but it will not hurt her playful and happy personality. Even the event of winning the competition is "not important" to her.

She likes to listen to English songs, watch foreign movies, fashion magazines, sing, dance, travel, paint and perform. Even fantasy is one of them.

She has been writing career resume recently, after all, her dream is to be realized in reality.

"At the beginning, we may first train ourselves in a clothing company, but of course we want to create our own brand, but it's too far away from me. If it can be realized, I hope that my style of weird style in the avant-garde can be accepted by everyone."
