Textile Industry Promotes Cleaner Production &Nbsp; &Nbsp; Explores Green Development Mode.

Since the implementation of the clean production promotion act in 2003, China has been widely implemented.

On the 22 day, the national cleaner production conference was held in Beijing.

Over 300 representatives of government departments, trade associations and key enterprises in charge of cleaner production in various parts of China attended the meeting, exchanging experiences and discussing common problems.

Cleaner production means continuous improvement of design, use of clean energy and raw materials, reducing pollution from the source of production, improving the efficiency of resource utilization, reducing or avoiding the production and discharge of pollutants in the process of production, service and product use, thereby reducing or eliminating the harm to human health and environment.

Such cases can be seen everywhere.

For example, farmland uses green plant protection technology to reduce the use of pesticides and fertilizers. Through technological pformation, the factory improves the efficiency of coal use, saves water and electricity, develops cleaner and environmentally-friendly cars, develops green public pport, and reduces road congestion and exhaust emissions.

Cheng Hao, director of the industry development office of the Ministry of industry of China Textile Industry Association, said in an interview with reporters.

Cheng Hao said: "during the 11th Five-Year, the textile industry was developing at a high speed. With the improvement of people's living standards, the total textile volume increased rapidly.

But from the National Bureau of statistics data, energy consumption has not risen.

Overall, carbon emissions are good and water is effectively controlled.

The task ahead is much more arduous, and we need to continue to push ahead with structural adjustment. We need to recruit new solutions and fine control.
