The development and progress of functional polyester fibers are also faster, such as flame retardancy, antistatic, UV protection, heat preservation, water absorption, antibacterial and electromagnetic shielding functions. Large enterprises and research institutes have gained successful experience in the development of these new products. At present, the development of chemical fiber production technology and equipment has been modularized to higher speed, high efficiency, high quality, large continuous short distance, automatic effort saving, multi machine flexible use and fine denier composite multi-function unit structure. Key technologies such as microfiber spinning, three foreign fiber spinning and post processing, composite fiber and composite fiber technology have also been mastered in developing new polyester fiber varieties. These technologies have laid the foundation for the differential and functional development of polyester fibers. The development of new products and new technologies for polyester fibers is a process of gradual mastery and maturity. To make new products go to the market as soon as possible, we should attach importance to the development and application of "one-stop" in organizing products, strengthen market research, and develop new products in the market orientation.
