Secondly, because the goods purchased by the neighbourhood at the exhibition do not usually require documents, it is difficult for the industry and Commerce Department to investigate and collect evidence.

"Once the consumers complained to us that the Xinjiang red dates they bought at the exhibition were not produced in Xinjiang at all, it was very difficult for us to obtain evidence for such complaints.

Because there is no information about the product name, manufacturer and date of production, we can not distinguish the origin of the product, or we hope that when consumers buy the product, we can see the label of the product and see if there is "QS" logo, product composition and packaging.

Haizhuqu District Consumers Association staff told reporters.

"The goods that people buy at the exhibition generally do not have receipts or invoices. On the one hand, when consumers return goods, businesses will refuse them on the grounds that they have no credentials. On the other hand, consumers can not accept the case when they complain to consumers associations because of lack of necessary evidence, so consumers try to keep certain credentials when purchasing goods."
