Spinning Big Underwear Robot

The pre designed pattern will be handed to the "underwear robot", and it will be able to design the jacquard process according to the pattern. After the product is finished, the robot will conduct quality inspection.

Recently, Professor Deng Zhongmin of Wuhan Textile University Institute of textile materials was awarded this year's 2010 China Textile Industry Association's knitting underwear innovation contribution award.

According to Professor Deng, this intelligent robot is actually a "knitted fabric intelligent process design system".

It uses the principles of digital image analysis and integration technology to establish a three-dimensional display algorithm for fabrics.

After the designer pplants all kinds of knitted goods into the design system, it can start "creative" warp knitting and jacquard work.

"Like some intelligent robots have self - repair functions, the system can also correct themselves after the design error of the designer, reducing the possibility of the defective product."

According to the introduction, the process design system was completed in 2005, and Professor Deng Zhongmin put it into the actual production of 10 textile factories in Guangdong, Fujian and other places, which greatly improved the production efficiency of the products.

"It took 1 to 2 weeks to finish designing and making a set of underwear, but now it only takes 1 to 2 days."

It is reported that only one "intelligent correction" can save hundreds of millions of yuan for these manufacturers every year.
