Passion years
The Chinese tunic suit is the main garment style of Chinese men since the beginning of the last century.
However, few people know that the designer of the Zhongshan suit is Huang Longsheng, a Vietnamese overseas Chinese revolutionist in Taishan.
According to the Guangdong encyclopedia published in 1995, Huang Longsheng served as the Vietnamese overseas Chinese social activist and served as the first vice president of the central bank founded by Sun Zhongshan. He is also the designer of the Chinese tunic suit.
For this historical fact, Mr. Cai Feng, who has worked in Taishan library for many years, has studied deeply the retired Chinese cadre of overseas Chinese in Taishan.
Cai Feng said that the name of the Chinese tunic suit was because it was designed by Mr. Sun Zhongshan.
"Chinese culture and customs dictionary" records: "Sun Zhongshan, referring to the characteristics of Chinese original underwear, absorbs the" business dress "and" suit style "of overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia, and designs in accordance with the principle of" fit for health, easy to move, easy to economy and strong in sight ", and personally designs and designs a fashion style designed by Huang Longsheng.
A initiated the establishment of the Hanoi branch of the Hsing Chung club and became a revolutionary stronghold.
According to historical records, Huang Longsheng was born in Tongyang village of Lufu village committee in Dou Shan town, Taishan, and was born in Tongzhi for nine years in 1870 (the 18th day of the second month of the Chinese lunar calendar).
When he was young, he went to Vietnam to make a living in Hanoi. He first learned how to make shoes and then tailors.
Due to his superb skills, he soon became a famous tailor in Hanoi and opened Longsheng clothes shop.
Huang Longsheng himself did not think that his own Western-style clothes shop became a revolutionary stronghold of Hanoi in the future.
As for how to know Huang Longsheng and become a comrade, Sun Zhongshan wrote in his eighth chapter of the founding of the people's Republic of China that "ambition has come true": "at the intersection of Ren Yin and GUI Mao, the governor of Tokyo, Sun Zhongshan, the governor of Tao Mei Shi, had repeatedly been invited to see him. He failed to make a trip, and later opened an exposition with Hanoi.
When he was in Hanoi, he knew Huang Longsheng, a Chinese businessman, and then became a comrade. He tried very hard at Qin Lian and estuary.
According to historical records, Sun Zhongshan, who was in Japan in 1902, visited Hanoi at the invitation of the governor of the French colonial government of Vietnam. He also organized a group meeting to visit Huang Longsheng.
When Huang Longsheng learned that the customer was Sun Zhongshan, he immediately asked to join the Hui Central Committee to contribute to the revolution.
Huang Longsheng became Vietnam's first member of the Central Committee.
In accordance with Sun Zhongshan's instructions, he established the Hanoi branch of the China Central Committee and developed more than 100 members.
It will take the Western clothing store as a stronghold, actively mobilize overseas Chinese donations, purchase firearms and print propaganda materials, and receive and support revolutionary revolutionaries who have fled to Hanoi in the past several uprising failures.
In 1907, Sun Zhongshan went to Hanoi again to reorganize the Central Committee of Hanoi into the League branch, and set up the general organ of the leading uprising in Hanoi, directing the Chaozhou uprising in April, the Huizhou uprising, Qinzhou in July, the uprising in Lian Zhou and the town of South Pass in November (now Guangxi Friendship Pass).

B design Zhongshan costume new national costume arises at the historic moment
Mr. Cai Feng said that after the revolution of 1911 overthrew the monarchy, the founding of the Republic of China opened up a new era.
At that time, the revolutionaries were dressed in a variety of clothes, some in suits, and some in long gowns and Liriodendron. Therefore, some people suggested uniform clothing, but what they wore was different.
Mr. Sun Zhongshan found it difficult to decide. He commissioned Huang Longsheng to design and make new clothes, which required both the traditional characteristics of the Chinese nation and the world trend.
After referring to many kinds of Chinese and foreign garments, Huang Longsheng designed several styles and made them personally. He chose them for Sun Zhongshan. One of the designs, which was modeled on British student clothes, was welcomed by Sun Zhongshan and other revolutionary parties. This is today's Chinese tunic suit.
In the eighteen year of the Republic of China (1929), the central government of the Kuomintang ordered the Zhongshan dress to be the dress of the party and government officials, and stipulated in the constitution that when civil servants were sworn into office, they should wear Zhongshan suit.
It is black in spring, autumn and winter, and white in summer.
The Chinese tunic suit is a kind of new national costume, with its elegant shape and strict structure.
Formally, the design of the Zhongshan suit has a specific meaning. The 4 pockets of its front part symbolize the four dimensions of the country, that is, "ritual, righteousness, honesty and shame".
The left upper pocket is written in the shape of the "mountain" type, which has the position of inserting pens, which symbolizes the rule of "Wen".
There are 5 buttons on the collar, which symbolize the separation of five powers, including "administration, legislation, justice, examination and supervision", as well as the moral principles of the Chinese nation "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom and trust".
The 4 grains on his pocket symbolize the four democratic rights of the people, such as "election, creation, recall and re determination".
The 3 buttons on one side of their cuffs symbolize the core of Sun Zhongshan's thought - the "three people's principles" (national, civil rights and people's livelihood); the 3 buttons on the other side symbolize Sun Zhongshan's goal of ruling the country -- establishing a harmonious society with "people, people and people".
The back of the Chinese tunic suit does not break. It symbolizes the unification of the motherland and can not be divided.
The Zhongshan suit is a symbol of strict rule.
Cai Feng pointed out that in April 2007, Shanghai opened the clothing group, claiming that the Chinese tunic suit was designed by the Rong Changxiang suit company of the group in 1913, but in fact it was Sun Zhongshan's aide appointed by Rong Changxiang suit company.
The Guangdong modern character dictionary also has a record of "the designer of Zhongshan suit is Huang Longsheng of Wuyi people".
In April 2007, the cabinet of Malaysia also set the tunic suit as one of the official uniform of their country, which once again confirmed the charm of the Chinese tunic suit.
