Du Yuzhou: Recovery And Reuse Of Waste Textiles And Fibers Are In Line With The Development Of Circular Economy.
At the China Textile Roundtable forum held in 2011, the chairman of China Textile Industry Association
Du Yuzhou
The recovery and reuse of waste textiles and fibers is an important strategic issue in line with the development of circular economy in China.
This statement resonated in the textile industry.
Speaking of recycling, we usually encounter more electronic products, metals, paper, water resources and so on.
Textile fiber
Recycling and reuse of resources are relatively new.
China is a large textile country and relies heavily on natural fiber resources such as cotton, wool, hemp, silk and petrochemical raw materials for chemical fiber production.
With the growth of textile fiber consumption, the number of waste textiles has increased a lot, but it has not been fully reused.
The reality is that fiber resources are already very tight, and raw material prices are showing a rising trend.
Faced with such a situation, it is promising to reduce the production cost by increasing the proportion of fiber resources.
The author believes that efforts can be made from several aspects:
First of all, we must recognize that recycling and reuse of textile fiber resources is an important issue related to the sustainable development of the textile industry.
The concept of textile fiber resources recycling should be established in the whole society. Through various measures, consumers can understand the current tense situation of fiber resources, encourage them to establish the awareness of green consumption of textiles, and use fiber resources in waste textiles to expand channels for fiber resource recovery.
Secondly, we should improve the technology research and expand the application scope of fiber resources recycling.
For the existing recycling technology and technology, production test and adjustment should be completed as soon as possible and put into practical production as soon as possible to achieve industrialization.
It is necessary to rely on technological innovation to reduce the cost of reusing waste textiles, improve the reuse ratio of fiber resources and the quality of reproduction.
At the same time, we should expand the scope of waste fiber recycling and reuse, so that it can play a role in a broader field, especially in the industrial field.
Thirdly, we should formulate corresponding standards, plans and methods to standardize the development of recycling and reuse of fiber resources so as to form a complete set.
Industrial chain
And drive the development of related industries.
Recycling and reuse of textile fiber resources is a new project, and also a growing sunrise industry. It is of great significance not only to make up for the shortage of China's textile raw materials, but also to promote the sustainable development of textile industry and promote China's pformation from a big textile nation to a strong textile country.
