Sichuan Shoes Need To Order For "High-End"
European Union
The high anti-dumping duty on leather shoes in China has been up to 5 years. From now on, the European Union formally abolished 16.5% of the high anti-dumping duties imposed on China's shoemaking enterprises.
In this regard, relevant officials of the Sichuan provincial chamber of Commerce pointed out that although the export of leather shoes to the EU in our province has only been exported to millions of dollars in the past, it is expected to provide new opportunities for Sichuan shoes to expand the European market.

Anti dumping lawsuit;
In October 2006, the EU imposed anti-dumping duties on China's leather shoes for the first time for a period of two years after continuing to impose quota restrictions on China's leather shoes for the first time.
After two years of anti-dumping duty, the European Union launched a review again, and decided to extend the anti-dumping measures for another 15 months until March 31, 2011.

And so on, 5 enterprises in these years, 3 times rose to respond, defense.
In April 8, 2010, the Chinese government also appealed to WTO, but none of them came to fruiting.
With the unremitting efforts made by Chinese shoe enterprises, the European Commission finally issued a notice on March 16th, announcing that the anti-dumping duty on leather shoes produced in China will be suspended from March 31, 2011.
Wu Zhenchang, the chairman of the European Union's anti dumping alliance against China's leather shoes products and the chairman of Guangzhou Chuangxin shoes industry, said that winning the tough battle is very important, not only stabilizing the status of Chinese shoes in the EU market, but also drawing lessons from this successful case to deal with the trade friction encountered in China's international markets such as Brazil.
Present situation
Sichuan shoe enterprises have limited benefits in the short term
"The end of the EU anti-dumping duty on Chinese leather shoes is undoubtedly an opportunity for many shoe companies in Sichuan to expand the European market, but in the short term, the direct benefit level of Sichuan shoe enterprises is limited."
Sichuan provincial commerce department official said frankly, last year, the province's footwear exports amounted to $more than 700 million, of which exports to Russia and the EU's two largest market shoes accounted for half of the country.
The person in charge said that the export of leather shoes to the EU is only millions of dollars in the amount of anti-dumping duties. Therefore, Sichuan footwear enterprises in the short term are of limited benefit.
"Although the anti-dumping duty is to be abolished, there is no obvious change in the order from the European Union, which is determined by the product structure of Chuan shoes.
However, this also provides a good opportunity for Sichuan shoes to expand the EU market.
Li Ying, Secretary General of the Sichuan footwear import and Export Chamber of Commerce, pointed out that how to seize the opportunity to cancel the anti-dumping duty to expand the European market will be a problem that many Sichuan shoe enterprises need to focus on.
"Although the anti-dumping duty has been abolished, it is likely to raise requirements on environmental protection and other indicators."
Assistant director Liu Ying of Chengdu kemit Shoes Co., Ltd. pointed out that in order to expand the EU market, we must work harder on the overall quality of products.
Expert weapon
Sichuan shoes should build high-end brands
Before the trade protectionism of developed countries, and after Southeast Asian shoe low price containment, how should Sichuan shoe enterprises break through and expand the market?
Li Ying pointed out that although the cost of shoe-making in China is higher than that in Southeast Asia, the advantages of style design and quality are obvious, making Sichuan shoe enterprises stand out in the competition with Southeast Asian market.
Li Ying said that although the EU has abolished anti-dumping duties, it is still closely monitoring the import data of leather shoes. "This means that if we want to maximize profits under export restrictions, we must create high-end brands of Sichuan shoes."
