The first category of products should be consistent with:

I. safety standards for such products formulated or adopted and promulgated by the following institutions:

1. the standards set by the international organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) respectively;

2. the European Commission for Standardization (CEN);

3. the American Society of materials testing (ASTM);

Two. The safety standards and requirements issued by the safety authority and in its "consumer protection (consumer product safety requirements) information manual".

The second category of products should meet:

Safety standards for such products formulated or adopted by all regional or national standard bodies.

The following products are not included in the draft:

(1) consumer protection (safety requirements) Regulation products;

(2) used or used products, suppliers have clearly informed their products before and after the products are used or used products;

(3) the production of products is only exported or imported to areas outside Singapore;

(4) any product under the jurisdiction of any Singapore law;

(5) control of pesticides and insect repellents under the pest and pesticide act;

(6) drugs under the drug act;

(8) drugs under the drug sales act;

(9) meat and fish under the health meat and fish act.
