This is not alarmist. At the same time, people who understand clothing production technology and IE project lack guidance in planning a production factory for a customer. After several candidates who have known many years of experience in running water, they find that the shortage of IE professionals in this industry is very obvious. The academia and the business community should pay more attention to the production of clothing.


    In the interview, it is often asked how to make the production of women's clothing streamlined. The consistent answer is "dismantling process", and then there is no less! "And then ask" how to change the flow process? "Some answer" prepare the main and auxiliary materials into the water line "; if you want to, simply say," that's not a problem!     What is puzzling is that although IE has started to set up IE undergraduate departments or even master or PhD classes in several colleges and universities (for example, Tsinghua University), there is little research on IE in clothing oriented colleges and universities, especially for clothing industry.


    When other industries are carrying out production balance, they seldom think about rework, because they are almost useless only if they are defective products, but the garment industry can hardly be reworked unless they are able to rework some of their work.

    As a matter of fact, as long as the average rework rate remains unchanged, the number of semi-finished products produced by qualified production can be reduced to about half of the total production volume (51.33%) after 13 process operations.


    From the above results, we can see that under the special rework phenomenon of garment industry, it is not easy to make the production line balance. However, the bad semi finished products need to be reworked for more than 3 times of the process operation time, and the balance of the production line is also more difficult.


    For the above problems, the clothing industry's consistent practice is to "open new models" and "reopen".

    To solve this problem, the problem seems to have been covered up, but more problems have also come into being. The semi-finished products in the workshop are piled up, the delivery date can not be determined, and production control can not be carried out at all.
