    Among them, there are third generation AP1000 technologies (three gates, Haiyang nuclear power station), France EPR Technology (Guangdong Taishan nuclear power station), and "two generation plus" CPR1000 technology.


    The "two generation plus" CPR1000 technology has been widely applied in China, and the localization of equipment has reached 60%-70%.

    The world's first third generation AP1000 nuclear power plant, the three nuclear power plant in Zhejiang, is also under construction, and is expected to be put into operation in 2013.

    The industry also does not shy away from the worry of too fast development. For example, there is a shortage of construction teams, there may be a rush hour phenomenon; experienced commissioning and operation personnel are insufficient; some key equipment supply capacity is insufficient.


    After the Japanese Fukushima nuclear accident, the State Council urged that nuclear safety plan be worked out, the long-term and medium term development plan for nuclear power should be adjusted and perfected, and nuclear power projects should be suspended for approval before the approval of the nuclear safety plan.


    Some people in the industry expect that the long and medium term development plan of nuclear power will be promulgated after the IAEA's investigation and assessment of Japan's nuclear accident, and the findings will also be written into the plan.


    Before the Japanese nuclear accident, China basically determined that the installed capacity of nuclear power in 2020 was 7000-8000 kilowatts.

    But at present, the pace of investment will slow down, and the medium and long term development goals will also change.


    The medium and long term objectives of the medium and long term (2030, 2050) development strategy of the Chinese Academy of engineering are: in 2020, the total installed capacity of nuclear power reached 70 million kilowatts, and nuclear power installed accounted for 4.6% of the total installed power. In 2030, the total installed capacity of nuclear power reached 200 million kilowatts, and nuclear power installed accounted for 10% of the total installed power plant.
