Wenzhou Footwear Exports Ended Up To US $248 Million 660 Thousand And 400 For Half A Year

In the first half of the year, our city foreign trade Exports continued to maintain substantial growth, and the total import and export volume of the city totaled 1 billion 527 million 70 thousand US dollars, up 29.05% from the same period last year, of which the total export volume was 1 billion 268 million 90 thousand US dollars, an increase of 32.05% over the same period last year. The total import and export volume was second in all counties (cities and districts) of Wenzhou, after Wenzhou Lucheng district.

It is understood that in January, our city's foreign trade export achieved a good start, the best start for history, reaching 276 million 400 thousand US dollars, and a sharp decline in February due to factors such as the Spring Festival. But in the following months, the export volume of foreign trade increased steadily, and the export volume reached 272 million 520 thousand US dollars in June. In terms of imports, imports totaled 258 million 980 thousand US dollars in the first half of this year, an increase of 16.10% over the same period last year. The total import volume ranks first in all counties (cities and districts) of Wenzhou.

On the export market, in the first half of the year, our city carried out trade relations with 171 countries (regions). The European and Asian markets remained the largest export market in our city, accounting for 71.27% of the total exports, of which the European market accounted for 40.10%, and the Asian market accounted for 31.17% of the total. In addition, Russia, the United States, Germany, South Korea, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, Brazil, Iran and Chile are the top ten countries in the world, accounting for 46.11% of the total export volume.

In terms of export products, shoes, machinery, clothing and socks account for 73.99% of the total export volume. Among them, footwear exports amounted to 248 million 660 thousand and 400 US dollars, accounting for 19.61%, and exports of machinery and equipment accounted for 205 million 102 thousand and 900 US dollars, accounting for 16.17%. The total export volume is second in all counties (cities and districts) of Wenzhou.

In terms of import products, our city raw material Imports are mainly concentrated in production enterprises. It is reported that in the first half of the year, the first ten manufacturing enterprises in the city imported 190 million 640 thousand US dollars, accounting for 73.61% of the total imports. Among them, Nippon Pu (Ruian) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Huajian nylon Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Huafeng spandex Limited by Share Ltd ranked the top three of the total import volume of our city's enterprises, accounting for 40% of the total imports.
