The European Commission Launched Anti-Dumping Investigations Against China'S Fiberglass Fabrics

After the GFFDC filed a formal complaint in June 16th, the European Commission launched some woven / woven glass fabrics for China in July 28th.

The larger European manufacturers, including Saertex, Ahlstrom and Preiss-Daimler Fibre Glass, did not take part in the prosecution. The European Commission has invited all stakeholders to submit their experience during the pfer period, from April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011.

Continuous filament glass fiber roving, excluding impregnated or pre impregnated products, does not include open mesh fabric. The length and width of the unit size are over 1.8mm, and the weight is over 35 g/m2.
The investigation will be completed 15 months after the first announcement.
In late March, India imposed anti-dumping duties on China's glass fiber imports, ranging from 7.46% to 40.91%.
Before that, the Council of the European Union decided to impose a 13.8% anti-dumping duty on China's imports of glass fiber.
