At the height of her career, she resigned from CISCO in 2000 and became CEO of excellence network, and began her first venture.

The experience of many multinational companies has given her a global perspective. She found that China was a big manufacturing base at that time. Why not sell products made in China to the world in the form of Internet e-commerce?
So, in August 2004, China's first B2B trading cross-border e-commerce platform Dunhuang online.
"Founding Dunhuang net is my dream. I am very enthusiastic.
No matter how tired I was the day before, I woke up with enthusiasm and I went all the way to the office.
Wang Shutong, who clenched her fist and ran like a runner, was already at her age. She was more like an excited little girl at this time.
According to his own experience, Wang Shutong took it for granted that he would be able to walk out of the road for a year or so to become a dark horse in the market.
But this time she miscalculated.
Her team went deep into the southern coastal developed cities, and found that the traditional trade factories had long been accustomed to the rules of offline trade, and basically relied on several stable customers abroad.
"It's hard for foreign buyers to identify whether the seller is a cat or a dog far away, so trust is a big problem."
At a time when the situation was hard to open, Wang Shutong found that the first batch of investment funds would be burned up.
Until June 2005, there was no alternative but to lay off staff.
"At that moment, I really felt frustrated that there were less than 10 people in our company who were sitting in a chair that had been knocked out by others."

Wang Shutong summed up very clearly for her. She said that in those dark days, she had to run all over the world to "get married" every day besides caring about the company's operation, but each time they were very polite on the surface, but they would not really invest. "They felt that the online trading mode was too remote, and a woman was doing it."

Speaking of Wang Shutong, people who know her in the industry have fixed her in the historical aura of the beautiful CEO, but she seems to have been out of the media for five or six years.
The woman who once served as Microsoft and CISCO China executives and excellent network CEO is now the founder and CEO of Dunhuang's B2B pactional e-commerce platform.
Last week, the Dunhuang network, which she founded by herself, has just completed the third round of 200 million yuan financing from Hua Ping group, which is also the largest financing for cross-border e-commerce in China.
At the press conference on financing, Wang Shutong showed a brilliant smile.
Standing in the spotlight, she said, it is a great honor to be supported by the world's top private equity fund Huaping investment, which shows investors' high recognition and confidence in the profit mode, team quality and online foreign trade market prospect of Dunhuang network.
In fact, the financing is the largest Dunhuang network so far, and is the largest domestic cross-border e-commerce so far.
For the Dunhuang network and Wang Shutong, who have been doing business for 6 years, there is another important difference in the financing. That is, investors take the initiative to come home and express their interest in Dunhuang net.
