    Wuxi natural textile industry Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in producing all kinds of high-grade yarns, high-grade knitted fabrics and garments.     The spinning method is also the main factor determining the yarn quality. In practical application, the twist coefficient of the knitting combed cotton strand is controlled within 340 (special number twisting coefficient). The twist factor 380~500 of the carded cotton strand (Warp) is greater than that of the knitting yarn. The yarn twist is greater and the strength is higher. The elongation of yarn is the elongation produced by the breaking of the yarn under the action of tensile force, and the elongation of the yarn increases with the increase of the twisting coefficient. The twist coefficient also affects the subsequent yarn production and processing, and the yarn twist is too high, so it is easy to generate the roll and form the yarn knot, which is not conducive to the later processing. Starting from the raw material selection, we study the processing technology of the special single yarn to improve the breaking strength of each yarn, reduce the hairiness, increase the breakage rate, increase the wear resistance, increase the softness, and optimize the weaving process to avoid the sizing and desizing process, so as to achieve the highest efficiency of slurry free production process requirements.

    Zhu Guomin: unlike traditional sizing process, the products made of high count yarns are generally of medium and high grade textile fabrics. During the finishing process, in order to improve the quality of products, they need to go through the process of singeing, desizing and mercerizing.

    Because our company's special sizing agent has been specially processed in the yarn process, we can avoid the singeing, desizing and mercerizing processes in the finishing process. This not only reduces the input of equipment and auxiliaries, but also makes the paste free fabric feel softer and more flexible compared with the traditional sizing fabric.


    Continuous research and development is the basis for the sustainable development of products. For this reason, the company is still doing research and innovation on this basis. At present, we are still studying the finishing process which is more suitable for slurry free fabrics, and adopt more green technology to make the slurry free fabrics achieve the performance of environmental protection and ironing.

    Zhu Guomin: compared with other technologies at home and abroad, the product has reached the following technical specifications: the cotton reinforced yarn free rate of special treatment is about 10%~20%, the reduction rate is about 15%, the weaving efficiency is 90%, and the average rate of the first grade of the fabric is about 95%. The paste free fabric is better than the traditional sizing fabric in terms of color fastness, breaking strength, tearing strength and anti pilling performance. It is easy to clean and has the function of anti aging. It can still keep the original wearing effect after repeated washing, and it is durable and not easy to deform.

    Moderator: no pulp technology, from the perspective of reducing pollution and saving costs, what economic benefits can be brought to enterprises?


    Zhu Guomin: there are many shortcomings in the traditional sizing process.

    First, the main raw materials are starch and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The use of starch slurry consumes a lot of food resources. Under the current shortage of cultivated land, it is particularly important to reduce the use of starch slurry. Secondly, sizing is only an intermediate link. After weaving, it is necessary to remove the size of warp yarns. Sizing and desizing need to consume a lot of water and energy. Thirdly, the pH value and COD value of desizing wastewater are high, which will cause serious environmental pollution, especially chemical slurry is difficult to degrade, and will cause continuous pollution to rivers and lakes. In addition, the fabric Desizing performance will also affect subsequent dyeing quality and fabric quality.

    The sizing and desizing process in traditional process is the most important part of water, electricity and steam consumption in the production of textile fabrics. These two links are avoided, the total water consumption can be reduced by 25%, and the energy consumption can be reduced by 35%.

    Therefore, it can be seen from these aspects that the production of woven fabrics without slurry will help textile enterprises to reduce pollution and save costs, which is conducive to the sustainable development of the textile industry in the new situation.

    Zhu Guomin: at present, the non woven fabrics used in shirting fabrics are mainly made of 80S/2, 100S/2, 120S/2 and 140S/2 even higher count cotton yarn. Compared with the traditional sizing fabrics, the non sizing fabrics have obvious advantages in performance. The products are gorgeous and glossy, the fabrics are neat and elastic, and they can still maintain excellent cloth effect after repeated washing. At the same time, there is no residual slurry on the fabric, which avoids the harm of residual slurry to the human body. At present, this kind of fabric has been cooperated with the high-end brands in the industry.
