The Basic Way Of Dress Printing
The basic way of dress printing is divided into two types:
First, clothing printing
Dress printing is carried out in two steps. The first step is to dye the fabric into a single color and to print the pattern on the fabric in second steps.
In the second step, the printing paste contains strong bleach that destroys the underlying dyestuff, so this way can produce the blue bottom white dot pattern cloth. This process is called bleaching. When the bleach is mixed with the dye which does not react with it in the same color paste (vat dyes belong to this type), it can be used for color printing. Therefore, when a suitable yellow dye (such as vat dyes) is mixed with a bleaching agent, a yellow dot pattern can be printed on the blue bottom fabric.
Because the background color of the dress printing is first dyed with a piece dyeing method. If the background color is printed on the floor, the color of the background is much richer and much deeper. This is the main purpose of clothing printing.
Clothing printed fabrics can be printed through roller printing and screen printing, but they can not be printed by heat transfer printing. As compared with direct printing, the cost of printing and printing fabrics is very high. It is also necessary to be careful and precise in controlling the use of reducing agents. Clothing printed in this way has better sales and higher price. Sometimes, the reductant used in this process will cause damage or damage to the fabric at the printed pattern.

Two. Direct printing
Direct printing is a direct printing on white fabric or pre dyed fabric. The latter is called cover printing. Of course, the color of the printed pattern is much deeper than that of the dyed base. A large number of common printing methods are direct printing.
If the fabric is white or mostly white, and the printing pattern looks lighter from the back, then we can judge that it is a direct printed fabric. (Note: because of the strong penetration of printing paste, the light fabric can not be judged according to this method).
If the fabric is of the same depth and shade, and the printing pattern is much deeper than the background, then this is the cover printing fabric.
Common problems and solutions of direct garment printing process
Aiming at the most common factor of quality deterioration in the process of digital garment direct printing, the professional solution to keep the best quality at all times is put forward.
1. Poor water resistance.
Printing ink for clothing direct printing will show excellent washability after proper processing and drying. Readers may not consider the factors listed below, which may improve the washability of digital prints.
Two. Inadequate drying.
Most of the special printing ink for digital garment direct printing needs a minute or so heating between 163 and 176.5 degrees (325 to 350) to stabilize the drying effect. Using white ink to print dark clothes has two operations. Inadequate drying is the main single factor causing fades. Since most of the main type of ink is water-based ink, it is better to use the printing press to float for 30-45 seconds on the upper part of the garment if the printing machine is used to dry the ink, so that as much evaporation as possible before the pressure is applied, it will maintain a good drying effect.
Three, the quality of clothing fabrics
Many digital garment direct printing inks are specially designed for cotton textiles. If it is used in 50% cotton 50% polyester fabric and blended fabric, the pattern may deteriorate when the garment is washed. This requires communication with suppliers, hoping to get useful help to adjust the printing parameters settings for synthetic materials.

Four. Preprocessing operation
The degree of pretreatment on dark clothing may significantly affect the printing quality and washability. Too little pretreatment can cause the image to be potholed and too bright, and too much operation will also be harmful to maintain proper adhesion. Although preprocessing is relatively easy to master, it does require some practical experience.
Five, fibril
Practice has found that the real reason for the phenomenon that ink often appears to be washed away is fibrous silk, which is the crux of the cotton fabric's texture that will penetrate the ink after washing. The degree of fibrillation is largely influenced by the spinning process of the fabric, and the printing results are significantly affected by the type of clothing. We can test and evaluate clothes from different suppliers by testing and find the most suitable varieties for their actual production. Usually, every second on the printing machine will act on enhancing the washing resistance of white clothes, just as any drop of incremental ink will help to make the fabric matte effect better.
Six. Do preprocessing on white.
Such a statement may sound a bit contradictory, but there are some printing operators who do preprocessing on bright colors. In general, the processing done on dark clothes is designed to react with chemicals in white ink, which is different from the way in which CMYK colors react. In addition, if pretreatment is applied to those non white background colors, it is very likely that the garment will be degraded when it is washed.
