Many printing houses use the PET release film (thickness of about 7.5 silk), and its hot stamping principle is almost the same as sublimation heat transfer printing, but the printing ink used in it is essentially different from the sublimation heat transfer printing. The ink printed on the release paper or PET release film does not produce a sublimation effect because it is a special ink for colloidal transfer printing. In the later stage of cloth stamping, the temperature of the pressing machine is no longer completely turned into a gas. Instead, the image is heated to the fabric with high pressure (temperature more than 100 degrees) through the hot melt adhesive on the reverse side of the pattern, and the next step is to tear the transfer paper (membrane).
