Sichuan Five Spot Check Sportswear Quality 88% Sports Shoes Incompatibility

Sportswear and sports shoes have been favored by more and more people for their light comfort.

However, the recent monitoring results of the sportswear and sports shoes quality released by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of industry and Commerce in January 2nd are worrying about its quality.

The results of spot checks on sportswear and sneakers sold in 5 markets in Chengdu, Nanchong and Luzhou showed that the failure rate of sportswear was 48% while that of sneakers was 88%.

Spot checks of sports shoes pass rate is only 12%. It is understood that the Sichuan provincial industry and Commerce Bureau of Chengdu, Nanchong, Luzhou and other 5 areas of sportswear, sports shoes distribution enterprises were monitored.

A total of 50 batches of sportswear and sneakers were monitored, covering 10 sportswear including sports coats, windbreaker, jackets, T-Shirts, and 10 kinds of sports shoes, including men's and women's adult sports shoes, children's sports shoes and so on.

The special monitoring results of the sportswear and sports shoes released by the Sichuan industrial and commercial bureau in January 2nd showed that the failure rate of sportswear and sports shoes was amazing.

Among the 50 batches of sportswear monitoring, only 26 batches were qualified, with a pass rate of 52% and an unqualified rate of 48%.

In the 50 batches, there were only 6 batches of qualified sneakers, with a pass rate of 12% and an unqualified rate of 88%.

The industrial and commercial departments of the disqualified commodities should be investigated strictly in the spot checks. The main problems of sportswear include 4 major problems: fiber content, color fastness, use instructions, and safety technical requirements.

Among them, the category of substandard safety technology requirements is the most serious, accounting for 62.5% of the total number of substandard batches.

The failure of safety technical requirement category is manifested as not marked according to requirements.

According to the national standard, the safety requirements of different product categories are different. They should be marked separately.

In terms of sports shoes, there are 3 main problems: the wear resistance of the sole, the low temperature bending of the front material, the surface leather, and the unqualified signs.

Among the 50 batches of spot checks, 44 batches of signs were not qualified.

According to the industry and Commerce Department, labels are important signs for producers to guide consumers to identify products. Only a clear label can reflect the true quality of products.

The unqualified mark is not specified in the production date, shoe type, product name, product grade or grade mark.
