Zheng Jianliang, President of Quanzhou Taiwan Enterprises Association, said that although the Taiwan enterprises in Shishi were concentrated in labor-intensive industries, but because of their early start, after many years of rolling development, they are mostly large enterprises. Compared with the local SMEs, Taiwan Enterprises above these scales tend to have greater advantages in terms of Technology, R & D and scale effect, with relatively high profit margins and stable orders, which can naturally keep employees.
Since last year, in the face of increasingly severe employment difficulties, Shishi Taiwan enterprises, especially enterprises above Designated Size, have prepared for the increase of wages for employees and continuously improve their treatment.
Many Taiwanese enterprises accelerate the construction of staff apartments, provide free room for husband and wife, free lunch, etc., some Taiwan enterprises even improve staff supporting services, make arrangements in leisure, entertainment and other aspects to meet the demands of new generation of workers after 80 and 90.

In Pengcheng Industrial dyeing and finishing workshop, Liao Feisu, an old employee from Ezhou, Hubei, told reporters: "in recent years, whether the economy is good or not, my annual salary can maintain an increase of about 15%. In addition, the company also provides free accommodation and meal allowance, which makes me feel very secure and life is very stable."
Shishi government is also actively taking action to help Taiwan enterprises crack down on employment difficulties.
Since the Spring Festival, Shishi Labor Bureau, trade unions and other departments have joined dozens of local enterprises to organize recruitment fairs in many provinces in the mainland, with remarkable results.
In addition, the Shishi labor department has intensified its efforts to promote the employment of Taiwan enterprises, and has extensively contacted the technical and vocational schools in various vocational and technical schools in China. It has intensified efforts to train local farmers, and has done everything possible to solve problems for Taiwan enterprises.
