The Hongkong Shoe Design Competition Attracts Thousands Of Double Works.

The eighth Hongkong footwear design competition, held by the Hongkong Footwear Association, held the awarding ceremony on the 28 day. The new footwear products with full personality showed the industry's abundant creativity.

This competition is divided into individual group and enterprise group. The individual group includes children's wear, the eighth Hongkong shoes design competition, men's wear, women's wear boots and so on 7 groups. The establishment of the enterprise group aims to encourage Hongkong manufacturers to actively develop new products with market potential.

In the competition, the professional jury will evaluate the creativity and aesthetic feeling of the work.

Finally, in his personal group, Lin Yingyi won the "women's boots group champion", "the overall Champion Award" and "the most promising new artist award" after the "ocean".

According to Deng Yao, President of Hongkong Footwear Association, there are more than 1100 pairs of footwear entries.

He said: "talents and creativity are the key factors for the sustainable development of Hongkong footwear industry. We hope to find excellent design talents for the industry through this competition, so as to enhance the design and creation level of Hongkong footwear industry."

According to the introduction, this award winning work will be promoted in the exhibition of "fashion exhibition in Hongkong" and "fashion collection" and so on, so as to expand the overseas market for Hongkong's new footwear products.

From January to November 2007, the total export value of footwear products in Hongkong was about 5 billion 400 million dollars, and the top three export markets were the United States, Japan and the mainland of China.
