    The 48 year old female factory director, led by Wuxi, is not only an ordinary enterprise, but also a model of the national industry created by the Rongshi family in 1919. After nearly a hundred years of vicissitudes, it is still at the forefront of China's cotton textile industry. It is the largest compact spinning enterprise in the world. Its combed yarn export ranks first in the European Union. It is the only enterprise in the country that can produce 300 yarns representing the highest cotton level in the world today.


    In the first quarter of this year, many export-oriented enterprises encountered unprecedented difficulties due to fluctuations in the international market and high costs.

    However, Wuxi cotton successfully stabilized its orders, and all of them were "shipped on arrival".


    A few years ago, Wuxi's "cloth wharf" was famous at home and abroad. But now it is changing, and Wuxi is in the core area of the Yangtze River Delta. The development of labor intensive cotton spinning industry is certainly not the best option, even if it is not the worst choice.

    In the past, the cotton textile industry in China used the "53 working method", which was learned by the Soviet Union in 1953, and no one dared to change it for so many years.

    But Wuxi cotton boldly improved, the sensor network composed of more than 90 thousand sensors completely subverted the traditional production management mode.

    The former product detection method is destructive offline sampling, it is very difficult to effectively control the defects. Once the quality exceeds the standard, it will automatically alarm or stop production immediately; and through the power information management system, the 27 electricians needed for the original substation maintenance will be reduced to "half person" (part time).

    At present, Wuxi cotton is the only enterprise that can produce 300 yarns in quantity in the whole country. Only a handful of enterprises in the world can have this "unique skill".

    How many sticks, that is, how many times a pound of cotton yarn can be spun out of 840 yards (about 764 meters) per unit length of cotton yarn, and the 40 products commonly produced by domestic enterprises are 40 times.

    The 300 one means that every kilogram of cotton can be spun out of 500 kilometer long yarn, which is thinner than the hair. "

    The garments made of this yarn not only have the advantages of breathability and sweat absorption of cotton products, but also feel smooth and firm in texture, and are very popular with luxury brands.


    Speaking of the production and development of the 300 yarns, Zhou Yejun said frankly that it was not easy.

    Researchers spent several years squatting in the laboratory, adjusting their raw materials, technology, equipment, operation, temperature and humidity, but failed repeatedly.

    In 2006, when they finally made 300 yarns in the lab, their hearts were filled with ecstasy.


    Nowadays, the TALAK (Taihu) brand product made by Wuxi cotton is not only a famous brand in China, but also a special yarn for many brands in the world.

    If the same cotton yarn is produced, the price will be around 30 thousand yuan if the 40 products are produced, while the price of 300 cotton can reach 7.8 million or even about one million.


    However, Zhou Yejun feels that pformation and upgrading is a process of keeping pace with the times.

    "The market has changed a lot. In the past 30 years, Hexi and Hexi in 30 years are now 3 years in the east of the river and Hexi in the 3 year, and maybe even a few months.
