Brand Clothing Headquarters Relocation Leads To Hot Discussion And Reflection

The famous clothing brand "Wen Chun" moved its headquarters to Shenzhen last month.
On Friday, a veteran garment industry gathered a case of the closure and relocation of several garment brands in Humen in recent years. On micro-blog, they worried about the "crisis of Humen's clothing brand", which triggered a heated discussion and reflection.
The headquarters is not just a warm family.
According to industry sources, Humen's two other well-known brands, Yun Yun and fox spirits, have pferred part of their headquarters functions to the two major cities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou last year.
Apart from the relocation of enterprises, there are several Humen clothing brands that have collapsed, such as the bankruptcy of foreigners at the end of last year, and shocked the industry for a while.

Transformation and upgrading of Guan
The benchmark, no matter from the pformation of the OEM brand, domestic sales to foreign sales, must be earlier than other industries in Dongguan. This is also the reason why Humen's economy can still thrive in the 2008 financial crisis.
Especially in the past 10 years, Humen's brand clothing has appeared in large numbers. According to official statistics, Humen has more than 5000 garment enterprises, 1250 of which have hundreds of clothing brands.
Over the years, Humen has been pushing the garment industry gathering area and the clothing headquarters economy "to build Humen's clothing and apparel industry to an industrial cluster with an annual output value of over 50 billion yuan, and promote the development of Dongguan's clothing and apparel industry to an industrial cluster with an annual output value exceeding 100 billion yuan."
But nowadays, the relocation of brand clothing headquarters is unavoidable.

Wang Ruipeng, a warm and pure project manager, revealed that considering the relocation would increase costs, the company made detailed estimates in the early stage, but eventually decided to move their headquarters to Shenzhen.
The attraction of talent is an important reason for Wen Chun's decision to move away.
Wang Ruipeng also said that the fashion trend of Shenzhen was faster than that of Dongguan, while Guangzhou was better able to keep up with the trend.
He also mentioned factors such as planning chaos and traffic congestion in Humen.
Some netizens said, "(enterprise relocation) this is just the beginning. As long as there is no structural change, Humen's clothing is absolutely dead, or, in the future, only one government backed YISHION will survive alone."
In this regard, Hu Changshui, general manager of Humen famous men's wear brand pine hawk, does not agree. He thinks that the pformation of Humen high-speed rail and traffic network will make traffic more convenient.
In his view, the relocation of corporate headquarters is only a case.
Pine Eagle has been a brand for more than 10 years, and its headquarters are still in Humen.
However, as early as in 2007, pine hawk moved the company's marketing center to Guangzhou, and some of its design and research links were moved to Guangzhou, too.

Brand pformation
The urgent need is not compatible with the soft environment of Dongguan. Many enterprises can not wait to move out.
After the financial crisis, pformation and upgrading have become the consensus of Dongguan enterprises. However, the weakness of talents and other soft environment has been a headache for many enterprises. Many CPPCC members have appealed to the government to introduce supporting policies at Dongguan's two sessions this year.
Wang Xianqing, director of the Institute of circulation economics of Guangdong University of Business, said that the relocation of Humen's clothing brand headquarters is not only the problem of Humen's clothing industry, but also the overall problem of the processing and manufacturing industry in the Pearl River Delta, especially the manufacturing industry in Dongguan.
How to maintain the vitality and stability of industrial ecology in the current market environment, reduce turbulence and fluctuations, and improve the viability of these enterprises is an urgent problem.
