Jiaozuo Raw Leather Imports Increased By 167.8% In January 2008

According to customs statistics, in January this year, the total import and export value of our city's foreign trade reached US $112 million 50 thousand, up 46.1% from the same period last year (the same below), ranking fifth in the province (the top four are Zhengzhou, Anyang, Luoyang and Xinxiang).

Exports reached $63 million, an increase of 38.4%, ranking fifth in the province (the top four were Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Anyang and Nanyang). Imports reached 49 million 50 thousand dollars, up 57.4%, ranking fifth in the whole province (the top four were Zhengzhou, Anyang, Jiyuan and Xinxiang).

The top 5 export enterprises in our city are: (1) Fengshen tires Limited by Share Ltd ($22 million 500 thousand, an increase of 9.2%); second, Jiaozuo Longfeng fur industry Co., Ltd. (9 million 230 thousand US dollars, an increase of 43.3%); (3) Jiaozuo multi fluoro Chemical Co., Ltd. (4 million 760 thousand US dollars, an increase of 67.2%); (4) Henan's Central Plains equipped with Limited by Share Ltd (3 million 340 thousand dollars, 39.5% growth); and Henan future Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. (1 million 980 thousand dollars, 561.1%).

Among them, Fengshen tire export Limited by Share Ltd ranks seventh in the province's manufacturing enterprises, and Jiaozuo Longfeng fur and leather enterprises Co., Ltd. ranks first in the province's foreign-invested enterprises.

The top five importing enterprises in the city are: (1) Fengshen tires Limited by Share Ltd ($28 million 680 thousand, an increase of 61.3%); second, Jiaozuo Longfeng fur industry Co., Ltd. (10 million 610 thousand dollars, an increase of 30.2%; third, Jiaozuo coal industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (2 million 130 thousand US dollars); (4) Henan River Paper Co., Ltd. (1 million 420 thousand dollars, 1508.7% increase); and Jiaozuo Hengtai Leather Industry Co., Ltd. (670 thousand dollars, 231%).

From the point of view of trade, the import and export volume of processing trade increased by 44.6% in January. 67 million 660 thousand dollars.

Of which, exports of US $37 million 30 thousand, an increase of 28.1%, and imports of US $30 million 620 thousand, an increase of 71.1%.

General trade imports and exports amounted to US $44 million 390 thousand, an increase of 48.6%.

Of which, exports of US $25 million 970 thousand, an increase of 56.4%, and imports of US $18 million 420 thousand, an increase of 38.9%.

In the export commodity classification, in January, rubber and its products exported 24 million 320 thousand US dollars, an increase of 18%; chemical products and related products exported US $10 million 700 thousand, an increase of 69.4%, of which the export of aluminum fluoride was US $6 million 200 thousand, an increase of 69.3% over the same period last year; the export of fur and its products decreased by 7 million 550 thousand US dollars, down by 15%; engine parts exports 4 million 980 thousand US dollars, an increase of 49.6%; exports of paper and its products were 2 million 450 thousand dollars, increasing by 2 million 450 thousand.

In terms of the composition of export products, in January, the export of new and high technology and mechanical and electrical products was 32 million 660 thousand US dollars, an increase of 30.3%, accounting for 54.1% of the total export value of the whole city, representing a 6.6 percentage point increase from the end of last year, showing a good start for optimizing the structure of export products.

Among them, the export of high-tech products was 24 million 680 thousand US dollars, an increase of 17.9%, and the export of mechanical and electrical products was 7 million 980 thousand US dollars, an increase of 93.5%.

From the point of view of export flows, in January, the top five trading partners of our city were the European Union, the United States, Hongkong, ASEAN and Australia.

Among them, exports to the EU were 13 million 630 thousand US dollars, an increase of 41.3%; exports to the United States were US $9 million 690 thousand, an increase of 3.8%; exports to Hongkong were US $4 million 460 thousand, an increase of 69.2%; exports to ASEAN were US $3 million 830 thousand, an increase of 86%; exports to Australia were 3 million 340 thousand US dollars, an increase of 102.7%.

In the classification of imported goods, the bulk commodities imported by our city in January were: Rubber (mainly natural rubber and compound rubber and synthetic rubber) imported 28 million 780 thousand US dollars, up by 73.3% compared with the same period last year; raw skins (mainly fur bearing sheep or lamb skins) were imported to us $14 million 150 thousand, an increase of 167.8% compared with the same proportion; the import of machinery and equipment (mainly drilling and sinking machinery) was US $3 million 90 thousand, an increase of 371.2% over the same period last year; the import of papermaking wood pulp was 1 million 420 thousand US dollars.

In the import market, in January, imports from ASEAN amounted to 28 million 480 thousand US dollars, an increase of 89.9%. Among them, imports from Thailand amounted to 18 million 480 thousand US dollars, an increase of 52%, from Indonesia's imports of 8 million 30 thousand US dollars, an increase of 151.1%, from Malaysia to 7 million 970 thousand US dollars, an increase of 123.9%; and the import of 15 million 740 thousand dollars from self oceanic continent, an increase of 66.8%, of which the import from Australia was 13 million 210 thousand dollars, with a growth rate.
