In response to this "directive", the chamber of Commerce declared to the provincial quality inspection bureau "the Wenling footwear industry should respond to the EU Directive on prohibited harmful azo dyes, formulate alliance standards, and break through the standardized implementation project of technical barriers to trade".

The chamber of Commerce set up a project leading body to carry out the division of responsibilities between the various teams, and formulated the alliance standard "Wenling shoes harmful substances limit and testing control standards", and set up a service platform to promote the implementation of the alliance standard.

At present, the project has been checked by the provincial expert group, and has received obvious social and economic benefits. It not only saves the inspection fee for enterprises, but also solves the order extension problem caused by the replacement of unqualified raw and auxiliary materials, and improves the market share.

In 2010, the export volume of 20 pilot enterprises was 310 million US dollars, an increase of 35% over the same period last year.

The content of service members should be not only innovative, but also broad.

In order to cultivate the management personnel of footwear industry, in November 2010, the chamber of Commerce set up the Wenling footwear industry university research alliance in 23 units, including vocational schools, shoemaking enterprises and scientific research institutions. The alliance is based on the provincial training base of shoe specialized in vocational secondary schools, and builds an industry led research service system guided by industry to promote effective integration of technology, talent, information, capital and services among members of the alliance.

The alliance takes cooperation, R & D, training, order and so on as the main cooperation mode, leading enterprises into schools, building "teaching factories" in schools, pushing schools into enterprises, and building "Teaching Workshop" in enterprises.

Anhui footwear industry association was founded in 2005. It is a trade organization based on the production or circulation enterprises of shoes industry in Anhui province.

The purpose of the chamber of commerce is to promote exchanges and cooperation among the same industry, expand dialogue with the outside world, standardize enterprise behavior and integrate industry resources, conduct regular lectures, training and networking activities, improve the quality of members, complement each other's advantages, achieve collaborative development, and establish a good image of Provincial shoe manufacturers in Anhui enterprises.

The footwear industry association will vigorously strengthen the digital production and construction of member enterprises, and guide member enterprises to take the new road of intelligent production, introduce advanced production equipment and technological process, and constantly introduce new ideas.

In the new economic situation and environment, opportunities and challenges coexist. The shoe industry chamber of Commerce in Anhui province has a long way to go.
