2011 Annual innovation of textile industry: Ma Jianrong

Shenzhou International Group Holdings Limited, China's largest vertically integrated knitwear manufacturer, announced that Mr. Ma Jianrong, chairman of Shenzhou International Group, was selected by the China Textile Industry Federation as "the 2011 innovator in the textile industry".

The annual commendation and forum of "2011 China Textile annual innovator" sponsored by the China Federation of textile industry was held in Beijing in May 8, 2012.

The activities of the selection were examined and voted by the Standing Committee of the China Federation of textile industry, and finally elected 20 innovative figures of the year, including Mr. Ma Jianrong, chairman of the group.

Faced with the challenges brought by the slow growth of the world economy, the appreciation of the renminbi, the fluctuating price of raw materials such as cotton and the rising cost of labor and energy, Chinese textile and garment enterprises take the initiative to actively promote industrial restructuring and industrial upgrading so as to help the industry develop smoothly.
