"National Textile And Garment Industry Transfer Base" Title Falls In Hechuan

Recently, the State Ministry of industry and Commerce and the China Textile Industry Federation awarded the title of "the national textile and garment industry transfer base" in Hechuan. This is the only official Industrial Park in the western part of China.

To speed up the pace of construction of Hechuan Light Textile Industrial Park, the national textile and garment industry transfer (Hechuan) base will feature technology innovation and invest 12 billion yuan to create the largest textile and garment industrial cluster base in Western China. It will become a technological innovation center, production logistics center and commercial financial center in Western China's textile and clothing industry.

At present, 13 coastal famous brand clothing manufacturers from Guangdong and Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces signed a contract with Hechuan district government to enter the Western garment science and Technology Creative Industrial Park in Hechuan. The first phase will develop and build 1 million square meters of industrial plants and supporting facilities. A few days ago, the Chongqing and municipal government promulgated the "opinions on further promoting the development of the clothing and textile industry", which is bound to speed up the rapid development of the textile and garment industry in this area.

It is reported that the park is built by the government to introduce a company to conduct market operation. Total investment of 12 billion yuan, 10 years to form an area of 3000 acres, attracting 250 thousand people gathered, the annual output value of 1 billion yuan of textile and garment city. Zhang Yongjun, standing committee member and deputy district head of Hechuan District Committee, said that the "clothing city" plan of Hechuan will reach the size of 100 garment production enterprises in 5 years, and solve 100 thousand or more jobs.

It is also understood that Hechuan District, in order to undertake the transfer of textile industry, has invested 3 billion yuan in advance and United Chongqing light textile group to build Chongqing Hechuan light textile industrial park. The first batch of 12 well-known enterprises have been settled in recent years and have begun to take shape.
