The 38 year old American engineer Daniel invented a sports shoe with a tiny global positioning system (GPS) chip, which can communicate with 4 international satellites. No matter where you are in the world, these sports shoes can quickly help you determine your location, or even escape from danger.

Daniel, a former scientific analyst at the United Nations, said in an interview in March 19th that he believed his invention could help troubled children and patients with Alzheimer's disease.

The sneakers are sold for $350 per pair and will be listed in May or June this year, but retailers around the world have more than 30 thousand pairs of orders.

Daniel's solution is to invent 19 kinds of male and female sports shoes with different colors and GPS chips, and the chips in shoes can be contacted with 4 international satellites.

In case of emergency, the shoe wearer can hold the button on the shoe for at least 6 seconds, then start the positioning chip, send the emergency call to the 24 hour monitoring service station, and the cost of the month is only 20 dollars.

Daniel said that as long as the alarm bell rings, the monitoring service system will notify the authorities concerned.

He also said that when children or elderly patients with dementia are lost, parents or caregivers can notify the monitoring service system and start the GPS chip remotely to determine the location of the missing person.

Daniel's company is developing sports shoes that can be put in and taken out of chips. When worn shoes are worn out, they can be used only if they are taken out and put into new shoes.
